Yeah I'm pretty sure Zhonya's just bugged the turret aggro. It prioritizes who you're attacking or something like that so the rift entering its range and you going into stasis confused it.

To be fair, that is a considerably rare scenario and looks like it will be incredibly difficult to fix.

It was shooting him at first, up until you used Zhonya's. Then he was out of its sight.

I can only hope this means there was a lasting change to stop RQ>Zhonya's from doing fucktons of damage to people without any real counterplay.

No I don't think that's intended. I'm almost certain that rift entering its range while he was in stasis confused the ai, since it focuses whoever Heimer is attacking.

Heimer really shouldn't be able to completely fuck over melees while being unkillable just by pressing 3 buttons.

Well to be fair, Yasuo can build hexdrinker and just giggle while he waits for stasis to end, and Gragas can also build Zhonyas.

And for the rest of them who can't build that?

Also hexdrinker alone ain't really doing shit against it, unless he also has a bloodthirster. Yeah it'll reduce damage but he's also going to still eat a huge amount of damage in that timeframe.

Yasuo does the same thing to most ranged champions by pressing W. Let's say I press R W on Heimerdinger. Yasuo just presses W and my ult does nothing. There are a lot of champions with mechanics that completely screw an entire class, not just Heimerdinger.

Also, Heimerdinger cannot engage one anyone for the same reason that it is very difficult to engage on him. He is pretty useless without his turrets so getting killed by his turrets in a 1v1 is just as stupid as getting killed by Singed's poison.
