How was I, as tank 
, the 2nd most damage in game only losing to our adc

everyone. I'm not trying to gloat I'm just confused how someone going full tank is doing 2nd most damage in game that we won
its a top lane thing, there's generally a lot of trading and many extended trades, the laners also have a lot more health hence the trades do a lot more damage. also the darius was pretty terrible and this is bronze so

It´s actually pretty simple.
Lets look at say a fighter, this fighter will build some damage items so that they can kill the stuff they jump on and they have abilities that scale their damage of those items, but then they will also need defensive items so they can live long enough to do so during the time they take to deal their damage.
Now lets look at a tank, a tank will generally just build defensive items but they have base damage to ensure they are not entirely helpless during laning while also often having some bonus defensive scaling off their own tank items. A tank generally does not do much damage at once in the way say a Darius getting a perfect dunk sequence off does but a tank can live to use multiple rotations of abilities in many cases where others like Darius would die before they could do the same.
So tanks have some damage and a pretty consistent one at that, this to let them exist in lane and threaten the enemy team when they dive in.
So what happened to you is just likely that, you lived long enough to fight on for long times during each fight and as a result you end up doing a lot of damage in total.
Meanwhile fighters like the Vi, olaf and Darius did less because they died too quickly to really utilize their superior damage scalings, this is in line with my own experience playing Sejuani and vi and shyv(AD).
