It's worthless on most and broken on a few and makes them absolute cancer that you can't even run away from because Jax always has E Q and riven always has her Q W E

Agreed, it makes Yi twice as disgusting too. I've never found a reason to build it on any of the several champions I regularly play, but when it IS good on a specific champion, it's insane. Can you imagine Nasus with Rylai and this thing? Q's every 1.6 seconds.

Thing is with Yi is that you just want other items more.

It's still great on him, and complete aids for sure, but Death's Dance and/or Steraks is better for on-hit, and if you're going crit you really need to be stacking it.

It's a good item on him but I can't see it unless he's basically full build on-hit against a squishy team, and in that case he shouldn't be going on-hit in the first place.

Are we talking about the same thing. Sos reduces cooldowns by 1 second per auto His q also reduces cooldowns by 1 second for each auto by itself His passive gives him an extra auto every 3-4 hits His guinsuu gives him an extra auto every 3 autos which stacks with his passive.

To be honest, I wouldnt mind a more tanky build path, like Kindlegem + Pickaxe + Giant's Belt, and/or possibly replacing the AS steroid on the Ult proc.

The AS Steroid is pretty much a remnant from when Essence Reaver had this effect and Renekton started using it more than ADCs so they wanted to give ADCs an incentive to do so; however, it is no longer an ADC item (or rather, an item most ADCs build as soon as they can), so the AS steroid seems wasted, especially for champions with auto-resets like Renekton, Jax, Nasus, etc.
