There's no such thing as better champions.
There's such a thing as better personalities and team players and knowledge though.
It's amazing how many people see nothing wrong with dying 20 times or feeding 3-4 times before level 6, or think level 1-9 total unreactiveness as a jungler is "healthy."
About 70% of the population is stuck in this mess of random "not caring or learning."
About 70% are currently experiencing major bot lane mage feeders taking over 80% of their games.
About 70% are in an elo where the vast majority of those players do not know how to deal with several strong engage champs who can move entire games (
)...... and the funny thing is..... even if YOU know how to counter them, your team doesn't, and they feed the game beyond redemption.
About 70% are caught on teams compromised of people of whom at least one has major contempt for their own team before the game has even begun and fully intends on trolling you.
About 70% is stuck in an elo where smurfs come to stream Twitch feeds of them stomping less skilled players.
See a pattern?
70% of the complaints about the game are coming from people who want someone to blame other than players, and find it easier to lash out at Riot than their fellow players, blaming champ mechanics, when in reality, while it's still Riot's fault, it's more or less because Riot and players have created a nexus of loss at Silver which compromises the pure game which tends to be less tainted the higher you climb.
And what's sad is..... a lot of this 70% doesn't even know all these things are going on. They just think people are int feeding. Sometimes they don't even understand there's a smurf, and that the feeder simply isn't respecting them. And then in comes the toxicity and erosion of team atmosphere. Then no one want's to win. They just want it over.
