Well I know this mastery Is currently not popular and doesn't compete well with Thunderlords, so I was thinking this: **1) +New Effect: **for each 100 MS you get +1% bonus damage, it is not a high amount, but it combines well with the utility it provides and helps you to deal extra damage, in that way Stormraider is easier to proc.

MATH: 330 MS (regular): 3.3% bonus damage. 500 MS= 5% MS, and so on.

**2) +New Effect: ** While Stormraider is active you gain tenacity and become immune to slows.

If it gave 10% movement speed when out of combat for 10 seconds it would be good for champ who roam a fair amount.

The first idea could work.

THe second one seems a bit strong depending on the numbers used.

If it was 25% tenacity and 50% slow reduction that might be within reason in addition to some movement speed.

The second one could help Irelia bot :v

Plz no... it will make them gut Hecarim again, as if his win rate did not drop enough.

Bonus damage based on MS and granting slow immunity instead of bonus MS when procced is good enough and would make it a late game scaling alternative to Thunderlord's. I'd also allow the window to be 3 seconds instead of 2 to make Stormraiders accessible to bruisers, not just burst assassins and mages looking for a cheesy escape or pentakill chain.

Hecarim is already getting nerfed. If your a marksman there is really no counterplay to him. You just have to pray that someone can peel him off of you before he one shots you.

BluePolarizer1 votes

Hecarim can't 1 shot shit past mid-game. Yes, a marksman has to rely on peel. Holy fuck what a concept, that a glass cannon with low CC needs to rely on peel against an initiator tank who specializes in fighting squishies.

immunity to slows is way too powerful.

The first idea is pretty cool though. Hecarim andMasterYi are going to have fun with that one.

Yeah I kinda like more the first effect too, XD, champs like Sivir Sion Evelynn Garen Kindred Kennen Quinn Warwick Vayne are going to love it too, as anyone who builds item 3800 item 3069 item 3142 item 3742 Xd

Well Those champs are going to want other stuff. Sion almost always goes Grasp of the undying. Garen is really splashable but is really good with Grasp aswell. Kennen,Kindred,Warwick dont really stack movespeed or anything. Vayne wants Lifesteal or Fevor going 12/18 might gimp her early game too hard.Quinn loses all her MS in a second so she cant really benifit from it.

Glory isnt build all that often anymore.

I think the only champs who will actually REALISTICALLY want this skill is Hecarim Sivir

Yi is actually pretty OP with Fervor so....

Depends, many immobile champs will also want it too, and even more if it adds some % damage.

Having it be a mobility mastery is fine by me, I just find it too hard to proc when I want it to.

I thought the point of the ability was to be taken on champions that don't necessarily need additional damage but could do with some help getting out after going in.

I don't know, it honestly doesn't seem like a very good talent to begin with and I feel like it should just be removed and replaced with something geared more towards mages since they don't get a whole lot of options with the keystones right now.

Cherysse1 votes

It is not a bad talent at all, it just doesn't compete with other masteries as it is hard to proc on the early game and provides no damage power to help you proc it, so the first effect helps you to proc it and the second one makes it more rewarding to proc it.

While I don't think StormRaiders needs a buff (it is really strong at the moment, people just don't take it because they are morons that just want moar demegez)

(Its the same reason people pick up item 3036 more thanitem 3033 even tho they are faced with no HP stackers but tons of sustainers. ) [slayer-jinx-unamused] I would be happy with number 2. It fits with the theme of the mastery.

I'm just worried that it will create abuse cases later down the road.

Number 2 is the favorite option far, but I am not worried about it getting abused, the MS of the mastery doesn't last too long so it would be really good to add that effect.

I guess. i just see it getting obnoxious on things like Irelia or MasterYi

It depends, I think it should be tested, anyways I think Riot should add a cap about how much Tenacity you can stack. Anyways the duration of the MS Buff is short.

I'd rather get 5 seconds of no unit collision or something.

This mastery is my bread and butter on Shaco Like that movespeed allows me to make a potential escape after killing an ADC. It's great.

I like how stormraiders work at the moment, there is nothing wrong with the stats but i really whould like some sound effect or animation when it activates as i am having hard time noticing when it poops. Like item 3053 and item 3156 has a distinkt sound and visual effects. stormraider at moment gives a small trail of blue particals and no sound and i onestly whould be fine with the summoner 6 sound effect as i know what it stands for (more speed) Vote up if you think the same.
