Tryndamere's ult no longer generates 25 / 50 / 100 fury on activation and activates automatically.

he can no longer hold his ultimate if he knows death is certain and he won't be able to score a kill if he is ganked by 3 people while split pushing, which means he will be vulnerable if he tries to split push while it is off cooldown and the enemy team won't need 3 people during that window of vulnerability.

he can no longer fail to use his ultimate if he is bursted quickly at low health, so doesn't need to be slightly overpowered through raw base stats for when he does use ult to make up for the statistically significant losses he suffers from not using his ultimate in situations where he was balanced under the presumption that he would use it. In other words, RIOT doesn't have to pull his winrate up with high base stats to make up for the clunky controls of his ultimate pulling it down.

Okay I'll give you an explanation. Having an ult that you have no control over is just bad design. By what you described basically gives the control of his ultimate to his opponent. He loses any tactical decision in when to hold his ult or use it. He also loses part of his skill curve in using his ult at the right time vs someone who blows it early because they flinched. I would expect a player with nearly 1600 Tryndamere games to know this

That makes him like Derp King in DotA, what's the point?

Being able to fuck up the ult gives him SOME KIND of way to actually mess up, since his kit isn't mechanically difficult.
