Curious about Akali
So maybe I'm the only one that has always defined Akali based on her ability to sustain and stick to a target, not by her invisibility or shroud. With that being said, no I do not think her shroud is as iconic as Twin Disciplines or Shadow Dance, so why does Riot try so hard to preserve the ability? It either leads to her being underwhelming and trash (Post Crescent Slash nerf) or retarded as all hell (Post mini-rework). I've never ever done so much damage in my life on any champ at level six than an Akali who hits a minion before shadow dancing to a target and procing q with revolver. It's literally a level 6 one shot. Twilight Shroud is holding Akali back so hard from receiving any buffs or changes, because Riot is too scared it will push her over the top.
TL;DR: Akali needs power re-distributed throughout her kit, kind of like Yasuo but on a smaller level. Her W and E need to be reworked into something that flows more with her other two iconic abilities. E hasn't flowed since they removed the procing effect on it. Now it's just a waveclear with a high energy cost, and Akali is NOT a split pusher.
