Riot claims to have increased the power of Shaco's passive
So, Shrive (a Rioter) has posted in the PBE the following regarding Shaco's changes: http://boards.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/champions-gameplay-feedback/auEY7jEU-assassins-mini-updates-discussion
>Early game abuse reduced, tricks increased while providing more playmaking and teamfighting options in the late game Backstab (Passive) has a cooldown, but provides a greater effect Shaco's Deceive (Q) duration starts small and scales with rank Shaco can place Jack in the Boxes (W) while Invisible, briefly revealing him
But there is one thing that is not true.
>Backstab (Passive) has a cooldown, but provides a greater effect
Considering the context of Shaco changes, the new passive does not even comes close to being stronger. Do the math. It's weaker.
Q+Passive
At base AD (117):
NEW: Q: 80 base + 99,5 = 179,5 With Passive: 260,3 With IE crit multiplier: 350
LIVE: Q: 117 * 2,2 = 257 With Passive: 308,8 With IE crit multiplier: 379,8
At 300 AD (117 base + 183 bonus):
NEW: Q: 80 base + 255 = 335 With Passive: 485,75 With IE crit multiplier: 653,3
LIVE: Q: 300 * 2,2 = 660 With Passive: 792 With IE crit multiplier: 972
Damage in previous combos:
NEW: Damage: 120 * 1,45 = 174 With IE crit multiplier: 234
LIVE: Damage: 120 * 2,2 = 264 With IE crit multiplier: 324
TOTAL DAMAGE OF Q+P+SS:
At base AD:
NEW: 434
LIVE: 572
Witt more AD, the difference becomes even bigger.
