It appears Riot is trying to buff overall tankiness.

Whether the approach is right or not. People need to consider what they are doing...

Tanks buffed, delayed assassin damage, new tank items, stronger defensive options keep getting added for carries, pen going down, various damage amps nerfed a couple patches ago.

Whether you agree with their methods or not, you must admit this is exactly what we asked for. Longer fights, slower deaths, more tankiness overall, delayed damage. It may not be happening perfectly and may have rough edges. But it is making the game beefier overall.

What is more, they buffed Crit ADCs, nerfed lethality, gave AP a spellshield. They are trying to do what the community asked for. And I am excited for that, they have my credit and praise for walking this road, even if they fall off it here and there.

Anyway, no plans of this being a long extensive post. Just wanted to say that.

People won't be happy until they can tank an entire team for 20 minutes anyway.

Except Ralanr, he just wants all tanks to have decent survivability and early game strength. He is the best tank main on the boards like MM is the best Morde main on the boards.

They buffed tanks? From the patch notes it looks like most things lost tank stats (ex: randuins losing 200 health for 10 armor gain) and they buffed items that counter tanks such as ad lifesteal.

The new items are great for a few champs, but overall I don't see how this patch was to slow things down. True tanks may end up with a full build benefit, but all others who only build a little bit of resistance (fighters, juggernauts, Guardian angel users) lose sustain.

can you not? tanks were not buffed and riot sucked at what they should have done

all of them are paper right now that can no longer threat any targets due to sunfire and deadman nerf
