In my opinion, one of the worst decisions Riot has made in a long tie. the nerf to his ult is nothing close to offsetting the damage he can get from that item.
Zed's damage numbers are already excessively inflated as it is. He didn't need anything more.
WolfChases1 votesWhen I said that the only fair nerf to Zed's kit would be complete removal of his passive against minions, everyone called me BRONZE even tho I was Platinum Zed main back than who basically stopped playing Zed just because everyone started bitching about him and because Riot always took the wrong direction to ''balance'' him.
His Q : Is fine, hitbox almost matches the shuriken so it's not like Blitz's grab or Morgana's Bind and it does less damage if you are behind the initial target.
His W : Is fine because he maxes it last and it has relatively long CD ~12 seconds at spell level 5. He is also vulnerable to ganks early/mid game if he uses it to often.
His E : Is fine, nothing to say here.
His R : Is and is not fine at the same time. 1 second delay between swaps was fair, 0.5 IS NOT FAIR. BUT!!! When i said that they should add some range on the swap that scales with ability level similar to Nocturne or Pantheon ULT just much less range - they called me BRONZE.
If they simply added that range limit where he can swap back to his R shadow Zed would not be able to ult back 324827938 miles away and not be punished for a bad play, but nope...lets add 1 second delay and than buff it to 0.5 like it actually means shit.
If they removed his passive against minions Zed would not be able to YOLO lasthit every single minion under the turret and under the poke pressure of other mid laners, but NOPE, lets leave his passive to work against EVERYTHING.
If they just did at least one of those 2 changes, no one would bitch about Zed EVER again and both changes would not impact diamond+ Zed mains that much while lower Elo Zed's would be much less of a threat.
