When you look at their kits, Shouldn't TF get a buff and Tali get a nerf? Taliyah has a huge wave clear and mobility advantage on TF Taliyah 's Q is cheaper and does a lot more damage Taliyah 's R is just as quick and has slightly better range since she can go 6000 units vs 5500, has a lower CD, and is cheaper to cast.

I think Riot should Nerf Taliyah's R to 5500 range, and match the CD to TF's R SInce Taliyah has a movement advantage very often in lane, she has initiative in most trades. Perhaps TF needs more damage to counter Taliyah's aggression. Riot should buff the base numbers on TF's q to 90 / 135 / 190 / 245 / 280 and boost Tf's base damage on E to 65 / 95 / 120 / 150 / 190.

Oh my fucking Lord are you trying to use DotA's numbers to balance League?

Also, the advantage that TF has is reliable CC. A TF that is ahead very easily crushes his opponents with his pick potential and gank presence. Taliyah is slightly more complicated in her play I presume. Her CC is less reliable and her damage is higher but less immediate / reliable; she moves around the map faster than TD does but cannot travel instantaneously like TF's ult allows TF to.

Of course, Taliyah's ult is not valued mostly by its movement capability but by its capacity to cut off a section of the map with the fucking Wall of China. It really doesn't compare to TF's ult that well.

K but why are you comparing them? Sure they have similar global presence and wave clear, but Rito's goal is NOT to make every champion the exact same, while you seem to be saying that Taliyah should be nerfed and TF buffed until they meet in the middle and morph into Taliyah Fate.

With your argument, I could say "Since Akali has 3 long-range dashes and a cloak of invisibility, how come Ahri doesn't get buffs to her ult range and invisibility added to her W? They both have wave clear and a 3 stack ult, and they can both assassinate pretty well, they're practically the same champion." It just makes no sense.

I think you are incorrect about ult's range. TF's range is better throughout most of the game, level 1 taliyah wall is 3000, and level 2 is 4500, soTF's ult range is longer for vast majority of game time -- the extra 500 range at level 16+ is very small by comparision. Of course ults have different utilities (tali wall vs. tf's vision), so aren't directly comparable, but range point is easy to address.
