Being forced to play a melee campion in ARAM is painful

You need to return the items from butchers bridge which helped melee champions out or do something. You basically sit there and wait to die or run in and die saving the other team time. The CC in the game you can't escape cause it's a one lane game. No where to go from the ranged poke. You can't 1v1. If you don't play an absurdly broken melee, you're out of luck.
