games to anti-snowbally
i remember being able to carry games in season 3 by myself even if my teammates are feeding now its nearly impossible
sigh

Is that a good or bad thing though?

in my opinion its a bad thing its punishing you for trying you cant do anything if you do good and your team feeds
everyone gets free wards and plus more free wards with those crabs
the lazer turrets punish split pushing bc they make you do lesss dmg so its harder to duel

Riot wants the game to be more based around teamplay instead of playing the game as a one vs one PvE kind of basis. Whether that is good or bad for the game, is utterly subjective.

more of a pve game
you dont get drag you lose you dont get towers you lose you have bad farm you lose (AKA NEW JUNGLE) you HAVE TO kill crabs in the river (lol another free ward)
i can go 42/4 AND still lose (this happened many times)
this game is just way to anti snowbally the game punishes you for even being fed

Nothing you said here is any different then any other season.

Why is this a bad thing, what is the downside of free wards?

I don't believe that.
I believe instalokpro is talking about how the game is becoming more oriented on AI controlled objectives than fighting other players. The key concept of the argument is that one is not rewarded as much for doing well in a PvP setting compared to capturing PvE objectives.
Also, for the last statement, going 42/2 and losing seems totally valid for me. Ultimately, once you accumulated enough kills, more kills don't give as much gold as before. I've gone plenty of games with over 25 kills (sometimes a couple in a week) and still lose, because there is only 6 item slots in the game, and a limit to how powerful one can become. Once you hit full build at the 30 minutes point, all the extra gold essentially goes to waste. As well, even if you can 2 shot anyone on the enemy team, if they by any chance CC and kill you, the rest of your team has no combat capabilities. With over a minute respawn timers, the enemy team can easily end the game before you are back up.
i wasnt there but I believed it was so hectic in the first 3 seasons that it was practically DOTA 2 where you could 3 v 5... the game is now relatively more balanced than ever before ironically makes it harder to stop snowballs
so yeah, I think you may be reminiscing of the days back when ap yi or beta jax or watever the fk it was back then... that was so morbidly broken that you can carry that much more easily

good 3 vs 5 proves
you can win lane you can win game not this
lol this team has more cc i win even tho enemy is 40-0 idc all i need to do is click 1 button to shut him down
3 v 5 only proves how imbalanced games were
Can you show me these games where you go 42/0 and lose?
