I'm really dissapointed and sad... I always considered Viktor a mid range burst damage champion. But I guess I'll have to switch to Annie since she has an easier time waveclearing now. Viktor E should be able to one shot minions and not having him last hit all the caster minions. What happen if your dumb minions decide to last hit the caster minions? A Mid range no mobility burst champion should never get their main harrass tool and waveclear damage nerf.

Malzahar W nerf wasn't gonna affect his laning phase, but his burst potential.

I fee the nerf wasn't so strong, they didn't touch his ratios, but I'm also dissapointed a bit because right now Vik is not so much of a problem, he is immobile and he takes high risks to deal damage.

I mean personally I'm glad I won't be eating a ~200 damage spell every ~5 seconds in lane, but also I feel like the nerf was really out of the blue.

I mean, now you just have to get an actual AP item early to still clear waves. I play a lot of Viktor and I agree with this nerf as long as if it does hit a little to hard for teamfights (not likely) they are willing to move power to his Q or even his ult. Staying in lane until level 5, recalling for 1st upgrade and boots and when your lane opponent hit 6, they never have an opportunity to actually engage with you. just 2 auto's on each melee then E to clear the whole wave every time. Now that T1 boots+vision purchase has to be an amp tome to clear them that way (oh no!). Or just throw an auto at each caster as well.

I hope by them forcing him to have to be a little more interactive in lane, they can focus him into a huge teamfight burst mage like he should be. And let champs like Xerath and Ziggs be the go to picks if you need a low interaction-waveclear mid. (Vik was crowding them out while generally being a better teamfighter)

Actually on 2nd thought...if someone lives from my burst combo with single digit health I am just gonna blame riot for nerfing E and force them to buff his Q empowered auto (maybe make them turn the AA damage part into magic damage LIKE IT SHOULD BE) >:D
