I just needed to ask this. Rammus is my favorite jungler but i havent played jungle with the new preseason changes yet. i have heard you take alot more damage in the jungle now, and that made me worry a little bit. Is he still a viable pick?

MrBuffington1 votesFrom what I've seen, he has a decent time clearing, but with the price reduction on QSS and nerfs to his Q, etc, he's probably a bit more difficult to play. I'm sure you can still make him work, I don't think he's as weak as a lot of junglers, but he's probably not tier 1. Just my take thus far

NB3 plays a lot of Rammus, he keeps talking about how the low cost on QSS makes it really difficult as well. Again, not that he's not viable anymore, but it still seems pretty up in the air if he's as strong as he used to be

i doubt that QSS will effect me too much. im in bronze, i doubt ill see it.
MrBuffington1 votesLS and NB3 both are in high elo (diamond in Korea and Challenger NA, respectively), so their strategies often relate more to high elo players; you can make anything work in low elo, Rammus is still probably a good choice. Don't worry too much about viable/unviable unless something is really out of the meta (ie. AD Malzahar jungle is pretty gimmicky and hit or miss)

The AoE damage and the sustain make Jungle farming actually a tad easier than before.
