Also for the concept that mid cannot freeze the lane easily, therefore making it safer. Sure its less distance to their tower as well, but their jungler has a much shorter window to try and get you.

shes a p good midlaner in certain matchups so yeah i just wish people who want to do offmeta picks would make sure they fit well with the rest of the comp (aka someone asking to fiora mid with an ad jungler and top laner pls no)

Why doesn't this comment apply to Zed/Yasuo/Talon mid too? Only saying this because posts in this thread make it look like it is some bizarre off meta thing, that while could work, usually isn't ideal compared to going top at all. It has been a thing to go mid assassin Fiora for a long time, she just isn't a popular pick in general due to her lack of a passive (lets be honest, it does not exist), limitations with her Riposte, and tuning on her ult/issues related to her ult. There is also the issue of Zhongya mid.

Fiora can be a fine mid laner in the right hands and assuming the match up isn't horribly out of favor. Would I be okay with a teammate playing her mid in ranked? Depends; did Fiora mid just get played in LCS? Then probably not. Otherwise sure :3

The range issue is relative. If they don't stay Caitlyn-esque range away from her, they're liable to get lunged on and eat a poopton of damage

Because that's where the squishy, often immobile and skillshot reliant champions are and she can rip them apart horribly?

I know that's why I typically take Wukong into the mid lane.

It's great that they just stand there and take it, then don't go back after they're out of potions and half health.

Like you won't go ham and drop them at level 4.

Half the time you don't even need level 4. Armor Pen Runes, a Long Sword, and Ignite on Wukong is often enough to kill them by level 2. It's hilarious.

Yea, depends on the matchup, but absolutely. I've taken her mid and wrecked people. Haven't done it in awhile though. She could destroy Yasuo. I've beaten Ahri with her. I've beaten Vayne with her. Other mages as well. She could destroy a Syndra or Veigar. You'd have to be careful with cc mages though. I wouldn't recommend Fiora mid against the likes of Annie or Swain.
