I beg you, just tell me why, why did I have a bronze 5 and an unranked in a silver 4 game, just why, why do I also get unranked players in my team, in my promos, almost every promo game I play, why not in the enemy team? just why? in my promos and in the games that decide whether I get demoted or not, how is that any fair??
Chermorg3 votesWhile it isn’t official, OP.GG tends to provide a decent estimate of your MMR in relation to other player. You may be Silver 4, but your MMR is that of a high bronze 3 or low bronze 2. What that means is your current rank has you placed much higher than your actual skill level.
The matchmaking will be based on the others in your game - unranked players are started at around a low silver MMR, and your MMR is bronze 2-3, so it makes sense that to average that out a bronze 5 would be in the game.
zaqat1 votesI had B1 MMR at that game, but those 2, had MRR for B5, I am telling you, even in my promos, a week ago, in my S2 promos, I had an unranked, for real..
Chermorg1 votesAnd as I said, unranked players’ MMRs can range from B5 to Gold 1. The system places them somewhere in Silver to start, and over the course of their 10 placement matches they climb or fall to anywhere in Bronze-Gold.
nm10101 votesUnranked players get ~silver 5 mmr for some reason and he duo'd with the bronze 5. This will hopefully be fixed if Riot goes through with making bronze the default new player league.
ARAM ZooKeeper1 votesI had the exact same thing happen, had a bronze ADC get matched against Plat.
Whats the point of Ranks in this game. For any rank sub-diamond, they are simply a measure of time wasted/grinded, not skill. And if the matchmaking doesn't even put the same ranks against each other, its even more ridiculous.
If Riot wants me to lane against players 2 leagues above me, that is fine, I will do so and I will win lane everytime. But stop doing that to my randoms, they can't handle it and they throw our games.
