I'd like a logical explanation of why the actual fuck is a tank allowed to deal crap ton of damage, armor penetration, movement speed, 2 sec silence, incredible sustain, no resources issues ( mana or energy), and can't be punished in anyway, he still builds full tank, yet, deals 800 to 1.5k damage with he E ignoring armor? yet you also need to build magic resist to counter his ult, unless if you are marked, you die to 1k true damage like you got outplayed by faker with such a retarded champ.. why aren't there any nerfs coming? and why isn't anyone talking about it?

Only if he builds damage items, in which case again he is not a tank. If he builds tank items, he can be tanky but he hits like a wet noodle outside of his ult. Make up your mind.

You just listed things in his kit as if it's supposed to prove your point. It does not prove anything. I can list a lot of things in other champion kits that Garen doesn't have and they'd be as equally irrelevant as what you wrote.

You just suck. Plain and simple. Garen is easily one of the most punishable champions in top lane.

His E doesn't ignore armor. It does reduce your armor by 25% if you hit an enemy champion 4 times with it. Even assuming you were playing an ADC with just 80 armor, for Garen's E to do 1.5k damage to you, you would have to have been the LITERAL only targettable thing (including minions) in his range, hit with ALL TEN of his max rank spins, while he had 396 AD.

Relevant Math:

(40 + .53333 AD) x 4 x 100/180 + (40 + .53333 AD) x 6 x 100/160 = 1500

(40 + .53333 AD)(400/180 + 600/160) = 1500

(40 + .53333 AD)(5.972222) = 1500

40 + .5333 AD = 1500/5.972222

.53333 AD = 251.16279 - 40 = 211.16279

AD = 395.93

Garen has a base AD of 142.5 at Level 18. This means he had a little over 253 Bonus AD from items. That's more AD than item 3072 item 3074 item 3812 .

For Garen's max rank ult to kill you with 1k true damage, you have to be the Villain and already be missing 1187.5 HP already. That means that you only have 2187.5 max HP, in which case you were a squishy as fuck champion who got up close to an enemy Garen while being the Villain. Your fault entirely.

Relevant Math:

525+ .4 missing HP = 1000 .4 missing HP = 1000 - 525 missing HP = 475 / .4 missing HP = 1187.5

Okay. Here goes : 1, he's not a tank but a bruiser/assassin 2, he's only does "crap ton" of damage if he builds damage, and it's all melee range on an immobile, very low utility champion 3, he has armor shred like many bruisers have some way to deal with armor. His is one of the least synergistic with his own kit as he shreds armor after he's used the majority of his damage. 4, We're complaining about a movement speed buff on a melee bruiser now? 5, it's 1.5 seconds of silence. Perhaps if you bothered to check what the skills of a champion you're having problems with do, you wouldn't lose so much? 6, incredible sustain as in basically Warmog's Armor passive post level 11? How is that causing you problems? 7, almost no champion has resource issues these days, if anything being manaless is a crappy thing as it likely takes a part of his power budget while at least two decent bruiser items have mana (TF/RG). 8, if you can't punish a Garen you suck. Sorry but that's just a fact. 9, a full tank Garen does nothing but try to fish for ults on the Villain. He's next to useless. 10, his E does not ignore armor. 11, you do not build magic resist to counter Garen's ult, that's just stupid. 12, yes, you stay the fuck away from Garen if you're the villain. 13, perhaps Garen nerfs aren't incoming because nobody has presented a reasonable argument for Garen nerfs?

I don't have any problem with Garren... You don't see Garen as powerful as Darius when he's fed. It has been a while since Garen is getting played after multiple buffs. Leave him be...

He barely has any gap closer and can be kitted so easily. Why do you think there's so much memes about Garen hidding in bushes.

Nope. Garen's basically the elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about. A living statcheck that can only be beaten with other statchecks. If hes doing good, no one even wants to admit the champion is decent in the meta.

Finally someone else sees what I've seen for two years now since the juggernauts were introduced.

No resources, basically a warmog's passive for his passive, 30% dmg reduction for 3-7 seconds, 40 mr/armor for farming, a Q that a. removes all slows b. boosts movement speed c. silences for 1.5 seconds d. deals over 100% AD damage and an E that critically strikes, deals damage to single units, cleaves armor better than Black Cleaver, and a true damage marker allowing his ult/basics/E to do true damage to the "villain" or else, magic damage.

Build him with death's dance and 4 tank items - its disgusting.

sigh here we go again. Tanks are durable and have buttloads of cc. Juggernauts (garen is one of them) are durable and have buttloads of damage.

Unless he goes for last whisper or lethality, his kit doesnt have armour pen. His e can reduce armour.

Ok so this guys post is a little bit whiny, but one thing I will say is that I was ekko Top vs Garen and I got FB and was winning lane, and then as soon as he finished spirit visage he was able to out Damage me completely which I think is a little rediculous. Like I dont care if he doesnt take a lot of damage from me, but I feel like he should be doing almost 0 damage to me with no damage items and just a Spirit visage.

I've played a one for all 5 tf's vs 5 garens. I was one of the AD tf's, and decided to go for "safety" & "kiting" over actually killing, because they'll become hardly killable and need to be kited later on. So my build was: Botrk, Mallet, Hurricane, PD, Tri, Swifties. I was unable to kite them, even with lethal tempo's attack speed wich allowed me to auto quite often, they would just w my yellow card, and walk up to me and facesmash me, even though I legit had a full MS build. Even botrk active wasn't helping at the late-game point.

It's purely retarded.
