If Riot nerfs/ reworks everytime we complain.. what will become of this game?

We will end up with a game that is quite dull. A game should have a certain amount of unfairness (think Veigar and Syndra R) to stay interesting.

I think it depends on what you're complaining about, and the quality of your feedback. If players complained every time they lost without trying to figure out why, or how much of it was their own fault, and Riot somehow acted upon each of these complaints (they don't), then the game would become utterly toothless and shallow, but if players were to provide targeted, well-reasoned feedback on how the game could improve, and Riot started using that more as part of their development process, then the game could in fact improve significantly.

I think Gameplay has this tremendous potential to be this hub of amazing feedback, where players would all give high-quality posts on what they'd like to see change and why, but right now that potential's being squandered. Many threads don't contribute at all, and those that do often don't go about it the best way. So many good threads are drowned out by cookie-cutter filler posts, and the end result is a pretty noisy, negative atmosphere that's difficult to trust, let alone take feedback from. If we stepped our game up, and put a little more thought and empathy into our complaints (many of which are justified, by the way), Riot could really use our efforts to change their game's balance and design for the better.

I don't want nerfs or reworks. Just leave shlt alone. I was happy with league how it was before they fuckled up my champion. I assume other people feel the same way. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

This is actually very accurate. Think back to when this game first started (or any game for that matter) and look at all the fun players had without 'balance' or 'fairness'. There were so many wacky possibilities - we would always find a bit of joy in discovering strats that were new and OP, or just plain funny.

Now that it's grown so large, people are so serious and focused about what's 'fair', it often takes away from the overall enjoyment of the game. Maybe the game needs to be professional for eSports and all, but for regular players, there really isn't a need to get worked up over it when the aim is too have fun.

I think Veigar and Syndra are really fair champions to be honest.

Their abilities are fairly easy to dodge in lane, but if you feed them or they get to their powerspikes and are decently ahead, the will feel like a cheat. Remember that ADC champions main source of damage is clicking on champions without counterplay other than not be in range...

I think Veigar needs a bit more safety, cause his abilities are just too easy to dodge, where as Syndra may be a bit too hard to dodge. The W nerf was a step in the right direction though. Feels much better laning against her now.

Indeed, point and click powers are necessary to combat hyper mobility champions, which are still very prevalent.

How about riot does their job and just balances the game. Wonder why people come on the forums and complain so much??? Because thats the only time riot decides to nerf broken champs.

I really think riot doesn't have a clue about balance and come to the forums to see which champion is complained about the most and then decides to do something about it.

Every high skill and low skill characters would be nerfed to hell. Whereas mid range difficulty characters would likely be playable

if the community had its way this game would be boring as fuck and nothing but a wet noodle fight
