One last extremely minor buff to Zed - Increase Shadow's missile speed with each point into W

Level 3 being what the speed used to be. It's basically instant after level 5.

Or we could bring the missile speed back to what it was, but at all levels. In my opinion, I think this is the better way to go.

This is pretty much the last thing Zed really needs. Maybe bringing the E cooldown back to 3 seconds, but I don't think that's quite as necessary or quite as important as bringing his W shadow's travel time back to normal.

He's not OP, he's not UP either, but would fixing the speed back to what it was really push anything over the line?

Many of my peers ( players of Zed, mains of Zed, and people that don't even play Zed) agree that dying while your shadow is in mid-flight is really stressful. Not the "Oh I died" stress. It's the kind of stress where you think "I did the right thing, but it didn't matter anyway. I lose anyway."

It's really unhealthy to gameplay, not to mention it just looks very cringey when a Zed dies if his shadow is in mid-flight, especially when it was in a perfect position to dodge something. Not the "ew" cringe, but a "dang, that really sucks bro, I'm sorry for that" kind of cringe. It's disheartening for everyone involved.

If you want Zed to be slow, reduce his movespeed. If you want him to be easier to kill, reduce his health or armor. Either way, regardless of what happens, I think changing his shadow's speed back to normal is a very crucial thing to do - it will set him in an absolutely perfect position (no buffs or nerfs will ever be needed, ever, if this change is implemented) and it will bring back the flavor, the feel, the fantasy of being a shadowdashing ninja assassin. Reducing the shadow's speed is as detrimental to the character's flavor as increasing the intervals between bounces in Zac's ult would be. It just doesn't feel right anymore.

Yes it would, Zed is a top tier mid lane pick once again in competitive play after the 4.14 tweak to his ult:

V4.14 Death Mark The dash now places Zed behind his target instead of in front. Zed now ignores unit collision while Death Mark is active.

Any more buffs or changes could easily push him over the edge and lead to him becoming a must/ban pick champion once again. It would certainly require riot to reduce his power else where.
