Two most likely reasons tank ekko hasn't been crushed
To the point, the 2 mains reasons are probably because of worlds and the assassin update. Riot probably thought tank ekko was more or less done at least for the competitive scene after the nerfs to 
and champions who could abuse them the most. But now it resurfaced again but this time its really close to worlds so the window to make major changes has closed. As much as I would like to think otherwise, Ekko is an "assassin" so the people most likely doing the significant changes is going be those who are in charge of the assassin update which is due later in the year. When tank Ekko does get gutted, it will most likely be then.
