What i hate about Darius

A bad Darius player is harder too beat, he will push low hp without flash and take advantage of being impossible too 1v1. Turret platings and zoning from cs means he outscales you in the midgame even if you dont die.

Call your jungler. If you're not feeding you should be able to 2v1 him really easily. If he plays far up in the lane and is really aggressive with no flash and low hp your jungler should gank. Darius is an immobile champ and there's really no universe where the gank doesn't work

Tbh it's your jungler that is bad if your laner is consistently doing that and your jgl is doing stuff like taking krugs and backing instead of helping your lane (Then taking krugs and backing)

The most autolose thing a jungler can do is take gromp/krugs early when top/bot has a really good obvious gank for them

Yeah some junglers never gank or never gank top. Dickheads on the forums say if you are being camped dont shove but truth is that has litte too do with whether a jungler chooses too gank top. 1 game you cant leave tower once without being ganked next you shove in a wave too tower with no hp because you laned for ages without seeing enemy jungler and know he will never come.

I once had a Shaco farm while we were diving really low hp botlane but it was a safe dive and neither of us died. He recalled the same time as the 5% enemy botlane on opposites sides of the wall next too gromp.

Although what you said is true, Darius is the master of turning 2v1's in his favor. If he is able to land the edge of his Q on both the top laner and the jungler and get his passive stacks off he is more than capable of winning the 2v1. Ive lost count of the number of times I've seen this happen first hand in my games. Even in high plat.

Here's the thing, not very many people use Darius, and that's for 2 reasons:

He loses to ranged champions. Hard.
While he is an infamous lane bully, he sucks in team fights.

That said, there's a reason why they keep buffing him, but even with the buffs he's not that great of a champion overall.

I hate Darius because I lose to him and I don't want to learn how to play against therefore remove him from the game

He auto wins lane vs most champs i play. I just wish when i had a good matchup i could push low hp without flash without the enemy jungler bothering too come top.

he actually gets outscaled easily if you dont die just EXP soak due to he needs you specifically to snowball since his goal isnt to scale its to nullify his laner to make it a 4.5 vs 6 (somewhat) i willingly play nasus into a darius every loss is a learning lesson to beat him in some degree. while every victory is a achievement all its own since i know that his goal is to kill me (nasus) hes technically my prisoner im not his if i die to him its because i miscalulated my all in trades with heavy armor/hp involved.

Darius main here, hi. I get that my champ gets so much hate, and I can see why. However, Darius is, imo, extremely exploitable, and as such, is extremely weak. Here are a few reasons and tips.

Darius's two main trading tools are the heal from his q and his 5 stacks bonus ad passive. There are many things you can do to exploit both in all honesty. For his Q, you can dash into him and the damage will only do 35% of it's damage: less than his auto attacks while applying no stack of passive. Champions like jax can easily exploit him and fit in 2 to 3 autos during Darius's Q animation, leaving him a sitting duck. Darius also needs 5 stacks, which means he has to stick close to them for quite a bit, and even with 2 slows (and a pull) in his kit, this is a task. Even when doing the e w-q animation cancel auto combo, thats only 4 stacks. In many cases, its better not to punish this, as committing to a punish allows Darius to get his final stack, which if the enemy has no stickiness or low attack speed, gives him the upper hand.

Early ganks shut down Darius, hard. Get ganked level 2, then at level 3-4. Now hes behind in gold, be it from death or from denied cs, and if the Darius is smart, he won't be as aggressive in risk of dying to the jungler. Use this window to buy damage if you are a diver/bruiser, or armor if you are a tank. If the former, you can now poke him down/ do short trades to make sure he can't commit to trades(Ex: camille's e q w, or Aatrox's q and w) . If the latter, it helps surviving disengage, and if you have high base damage, Darius can actually lose this trade (Ex: mundo or kench).

Early game, Darius's pull is on a 25 second cooldown. Extremely exploitable once this is missed. If its up, respect it, and back up a bit.

Darius has some of the lowest attack speed in the game to help make his passive more fair. To compensate, many Darius players will build tri force over black cleaver. However, that gives them no bulk, making him easily susceptible to poke and to ganks.

Either commit or don't commit to trades. Indecision makes it extremely easy for darius to land his outer q.

Q is on an 8 second cooldown early game, but is a 3 second cooldown late game. As such, expect him to be scariest mid game.

Level one Darius ult's damage is laughable. It does about equal damage as his Q. As such, its more reliable to use it as a gapcloser if anything to get the last stack off (if theyre low enough), and finish them with Q/passive bleed. However, level 11 is when his ult becomes scary, as it'll do half your hp bar.

Darius struggles against hard cc mobility, or sustainability. As such, he struggles against teemo (if theyre smart), jax, fiora, renekton, camille, tahm, panth (kinda. A good darius can win this lane easily.), yorick (his wall makes it near impossible to land outer q, and with low attack speed is hard to get out of the wall), urgot, kennon, quinn, vayne, karma, jayce, riven, olaf (is kinda a fair fight, but olaf has upper hand if theyre smart), mundo, garen (do short trades. When hes low enough, just ult him: Darius will be at disadvantage with lack of passive and dashes). There are other "fair" matchups, but i've lost to some really good players. I've lost trades to a morde, trynd, maokai, poppy, so on.

I'm not trying to say Darius only has flaws: he has great sustain, excellent zone, wonderful displacement, and so on... but at the massive cost of susceptible to kites and low attack speed. I know that it might feel frustrating to fight Darius sometimes, but I assure you: it really sucks playing Darius as well.

I'm so sick of fighting Darius, I usually ban Aatrox cuz he's even more nope and it's a blessing when someone else bans him. It's not that I cant do the match up its just that Im so done with it.

I'm a Garen main and the times people pick Darius just for the hurr durr Noxus vs Demacia match up is infuriating. It's even worse when they pick Darius and don't have the God-King skin :p

But yeah, the match up is entirely dependent on the Darius. A bad one is a free bag of gold and a good one means you get little farm and could be dove 24/7. If the champs you main can use Phase Rush, I recommend it. Rush a Bami's Cinder, do some quick trades, be patient and scale. A lot of the time the safe play frustrates a Darius and he'd make mistakes he otherwise wouldnt.
