if they did I don't remember it, must been during my main mid time,

It was only around from the beginning of season 4 to season 6, not a very long time at all. The item basically became a must have and warped trinket balance pretty hard.

just looked at old item list, greater vision totem, warding totem +250 gold, but now that there are wards on gold maker items an no sight stone it changes things

Do you want to keep the ranged part of it? Because that would be fairly strong.

You also can't buy wards anymore so pinks are stronger. I would be open for them to test this type of thing on the pbe again, but I also remember how powerful it was in the past so i am hesitant to bring it back right away.
