passive: does not have a passive anymore, w & e only way get heal might as well put a heal on them, and lol seriously it pulls toward him? he is a mage it needs push not pull,an only way get that's is e

q: given old mana pass pass to only this ability, no slow, less dmg because 1 enemy unit can block whole ability for no extra dmg, basically weaker annie w

w: given q's slow for less time even after delay, no root, weaker xerath w ,

e: given w ability to root but only 1 unless standing right on top of each other, weaker ahri q, no bonus dmg

r: same as old ult but explodes at end, altough may get stronger gets weak again after use, an only ability buffed by new pass

Passive: Swain is a battle mage. He wants to get close to people. Have you never even seen Swain play?

Q: it's a basic spell. Of course it's not going to be anything super impressive. It's his regular bread and butter.

W: Except it has a massive range and scouts the area. Do not downplay how important free long range vision is.

E: It's mainly so he can use the first half of his passive himself, as well as a more reliable way to gather souls for his ult.

Not just a battle mage! He used to be an anti-melee battle mage. Now he's more of an anti-assassin battle mage?

I'm a swain main made it to plat 4 , def mage= spells ,battle= poke &spam, NOWHERE ever does it benefit a spell caster to be so close to an enemy that u can head but them, that if the def of fighter and tank

He feels more like Azir where he controls the fighting grounds and requires experience to make good plays. After all Azir's abilities aren't what's impressive, it's those who play him.

(I think korean players will like him if he turns out good imo)
