Regarding the Tryndamere Posts and Complaints

I know there's plenty of people complaining about Tryndamere, and you have every reason to. The amount of skill it takes to play him isn't all that great (outside of knowing when and where to be at all times and when to engage). But there ARE ways to beat him, and certainly does not belong to be talked about amongst one of the most broken champions in league. Gosh, people talk about him like he's unbeatable. So here's a few ways to address this so called killer:

Don't push the wave. He can easily farm under lane and sustain with Q, so a proper all-in is one of the only ways to send him back to fountain. Let him shove if he ever uses E to farm, let it run to your lane. Punish him for last hitting (he's melee) and back out if he's running at you. I recommend staying a Spinning Slash away from him at all times unless you're going in.

Gank him. He's got no CC to his name if he's running, so get help early and perform the as before mentioned tip, and let him extend for CS. There is no safe way for him to farm as he has to reach to last hit and Spinning Slash out.

His damage without rage bar is relatively weak, so try to trade with him after he Q's.

At level 6, chunk him down low, and make him play very pressured and reactant, you may even bait out an ult. After that, call for a gank as he is extremely vulnerable.

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND AT A LOW ELO:

Some champs are very good at 1v1ing. Tryndamere is one of them. However, the fact remains that he's easily shut down with ganks and proper wave manipulation. Never extend to melee range versus a Tryndamere. He'll eat you alive.

Late game, if he split pushes, force a fight elsewhere 4v5 and exit if he TPs. CC eats him a teamfight, and assassins are not ideal versus him.

Frozen Heart/Randuins Omen/Thornmail are all considerations as well as Knight's Vow on supports.

There's a plethora more, but instead of looking at the macro plays you could make against him, and just being a well-rounded player in the different aspects of the game, to punish Tryndamere's one dimensional game view, I just gave you some basic tips and tricks for any Tryndamere matchup.

Champions that pressure Tryndamere early: Teemo Fiora Kennen Jayce Pantheon Renekton

Champions that you should not pick into Tryndamere: Yasuo Ryze Illaoi Irelia Gragas ... simply put, any Tank CC top laner would just let Tryndamere farm too easily

Hope this helps!

He's not impossible to beat by any means, but he's similar to Pantheon, in that he's a walking stat check. He also has RNG, so dueling him has a major element of luck - either he gets a lucky crit and auto wins the fight with zero mechanics or he doesn't. He doesn't have to do anything to proc his crit besides auto atk over and over and hope he gets lucky, and the enemy has no way of knowing when it's coming to try to out play it. It's definitely due for an update so that way both the person playing the champ, and the opponent can play around it skillfully.

Secondly, his playstyle is essentially, win or lose lane, it doesn't matter, then proceed to split for the rest of the game without cease, since he can't be killed and can jump over walls. Again, his ult is being used to help him in split push skirmishes, rather than having him contribute meaningfully to a teamfight.

Tryn embodies the traditional Barbarian-type character, and it would be really cool to have his basic abilities have some kind of Shout/Warcry element on them to give him reason to participate in teamfights and would justify toning down his frustrating mechanics.

But I'm just a stupid salty Leblanc main what do I know?

Which is why you avoid a Tryndamere at full rage bar to prevent that Crit aspect. And late game it reaches 100% anyways, so you know the damage is insane.

That would be so nice if Cho'Gath wasn't such a weak champ at the moment.

Weak? Check my match history I've had so many winning streaks because of him/build

StealWolverine1 votes

He can ult through any cc so this doesnt work at all.

ReySolomon1 votes

Works with me, I've had them say ''silence doesn't let me ult''

StealWolverine1 votes

well they were probably just too late/underestimated your ults damage.

Probably.
