Q - What is Arena? A - Arena is a game mode that hopefully is inducted into League of Legends. Arena would be a 1v1 matchup vs a random player (regardless of rank). There will be an entry fee of 100 IP but you can earn rewards that can ramp up the more wins you earn in arena (capping at 12 wins). You are given the option to pick your favorite champion to play and are matched with players who have similar phases of the game as you do (i.e.: Zed vs Leblanc is a fair matchup; Zed vs Zed; etc.). You are ejected from arena when you resign or lose 3 times. You can only enter the Arena once every week.

^ This idea is based on the Hearthstone Arena which is a main reason why people play the game :) Also a great way to grind for IP.
