Let's face it, toxicity will always be a part of this game(Solo Q mostly).

The reason why I wrote solo queue in the title is because this is the most problematic area and the most toxic gamemode of LoL. Not only is it played by many people, it is usually played by the most passionate players. It really is LoL's one and only true competitive mode in which you play with other random players. This passion means people usually have shorter fuses when it comes to mistakes and throws, thus creating an even more toxic environment than normal queue's.

The game has become too big for Riot to handle. 27 million people play each day, meaning roughly 2.7 million games to monitor. Even if only 10% of those games had trolls/toxic people who deserve a ban, thats nearly 270,000 players. I can't even fathom Riot banning more than 100 players a day.

I've been playing this game for 5 years now, and it's unfortunate that due to the removal of the Tribunal, people have a free pass to be toxic and have a bad attitude since only Riot polices the games instead of the community. You can say that the Tribunal was flawed, but the toxicity has become worse, even worse than season 4. Now I'm seeing trolls almost every single game, if not on my side, then the enemy's.

I haven't really researched on whether Riot's banning system is actually working, but the game has gotten worse in just one year's time, and I hope Riot or the League community can come up with a solution sooner than later.
