i mean, i havent encountered a situation where it was of actual use tbh, because 99% of the time an ally either gives it away or im already ready to pop out from a bush (to which i wouldnt need it)
so unless im just being mentally handicapped anyone mind telling of a time it actually helped them?
Silly Neeko1 votesI have trolled the enemy team multiple times by pretending to be a low hp ally and just sitting in lane a little bit, I have also as mid was backing happened to be around mid.... so I transformed myself into the mid laner since he was low and all the way near second tower to back (the enemy did not see this) and the enemy mid laner was low. So, when the enemy Zed came and shadow clone jumped at me there was a moment of "it was at this moment.... he knew.... he messed up." Before the enemy died. The enemy proceeded to tell me that was the first time that he had EVER seen that work.
Yet ive had it work multiple times :)
Though it seems to work best on tricking Assassins for some reason o.O
Also when you are support you can go relic shield and transform into melee champs.... you can hide your ulti for the cast time.... you can transform into a Caitlyn and out range mid or top laners even more.... the list goes on lol

Silly Neeko1 votesIts fun to test around with things lol, adds a bit of extra sustain when against a pokey comp... you have less damage but at that point you arnt going for damage. You are going for a healthy cc bot pretty much lol. I like Liandries, Rylais (so i dont have to always E someone and its more likely to get all 3 Qs... but usually later on), Zhonyas to act like a Morgana in a way (ulti then Zhonyas if needed to survive until it pops), morello... the relic line, because then if you E through a wave and Q them in the wave you will probably relic proc all of them :^) its fun lol
kda akali1 votesi think she doesn't gain extra attack range when she transforms into cait, she just stays at normal neeko range. the relic shield thing is rly cool though
Silly Neeko1 votesFor the same reason that she goes melee when she is a melee champ, she also gains attack range or loses attack range for choosing other ranged champions as well.
FOR JUSTICE1 votesiirc though when i tried this when she was first released, her attack range never actually increased, passed the original value.
although those are kinda cool, i still do think thats kind of niche
