Why the Turret Nerf isn't a bad thing
I know what you're thinking, that Riot is stupid because they just nerfed turrets. Those same turrets that tanks just shrug off, able to start a teamfight under with little consequence.
Except Riot didn't nerf the damage of the turrets. They nerfed the debuffs the turrets gave. The debuffs were the ones that reduces damage/slowed, 2 things that tanks don't particularly care about. Tanks are largely unaffected by this change.
This change affects split pushing champions. That is all. Split pushing was pretty much non existent in this meta, so Riot wanted to give those champions who specialize in split pushing, like Aatrox, a little bit more power. Even if you don't like split pushing, it's a viable playstyle that doesn't really hurt anybody, and Riot wants you to be able to use whatever strategy you want.
This thread is irrelevant if you like to tank as the ADC while you tank does all that damage. If so, then yeah, looks your your playstyle did get buffed, wtf is rito doing.
