Random reminder that putting provisional players in silver 3 elo

Shittiest part was getting fresh to 30 first ranked placement games ever in my promo matches. First time in S2 promo game 2 and 3 had fresh to 30s. Round 2 of promo had fresh 30 top, then fresh 30 bot, always feeding 8+ kills before laning is over

Get them out of people's fucking promo matches.

Outside of these fresh to 30s or those in placements who dont care, I've had pretty strong runs but those games really soured the climb.

And then later on they just keep getting caught over and over and over and over.

So its basically 4 vs 5 or retreat. And as a Mid Laner I'm like... "screw this."

Add in some fool who thinks is win whether he lands a hook ANYWHERE (never mind we are a man down or the 4 of us are spread out)... and I'm basically waiting for the loss.

Honestly, most Silvers shouldn't even touch

This situation just doesn't make sense at all: You can climb out of multiple divisions (like B5 to B1), only to be placed in games with a higher % chance of being matched with new ranked players. It's crazy.

How can people complain about these things yet don't agree when I say it makes no sense to be able to range from bronze - gold within your first 10 placements. The way I see it at that point, gold is bronze. I have no need to build an ego for myself and have never flamed teamates for playing bad as we all have, so i have no reason to lie, but I did carry most of my ranked matches and in general im a very communicative and passive/safe player, I truly was stuck with people that treated it like blind normals almost every match and would flame each other causing a loss. Sucks being a player with 8 lvl 7s and overall at least decent yet stuck in bronze on a 6 year old account and called a noob for it.

It makes me kind of upset. I’m not the greatest at league and I was getting creamed in the provisionals. Whenever we won, it was because someone was amazing and carried. I got placed in Silver 3 and now I don’t ever want to play coz I’m just gonna ruin someone else’s game. I was hoping for Silver 5 or Bronze 1 so that I could play with people and contribute instead of feeling like I was inting the whole time.
