Why are Gold players allowed to queue with Silver players and match against Bronze players

Just had a game where a Gold 3 was duoing with a Silver 4, clearing boosting his dumb ass, and my whole team is silver/bronze. Really?

Just wait till you'll be able to buy your division with loot-hex-boxes for only $9.99

Implying there's much difference in skill between Bronze, Silver and Gold players :)

I agree if it’s solo/duo q that’s garbage. This happens all the time in flex. Very common. Why are golds playing their promos with bronze? This is fair in Riots eyes.

TBh i dont think you should be allowed to duo with anyone 1 or 2 divisions different from you. So a Gold 1 cant duo with a silver 4 the skill difference is so imbalanced there, if your gold 3 you should only be allowed to duo with gold 4-2 or a silver 1-gold 1

A problem I have with matchmaking isn't for duo queues. It is for solo queues. I see it occasionally in my games where there will be a silver 1 player with really good win rate playing in a game with platinums. If the system is solo queueing someone in a match, that person should be able to say "I liked playing with this person, I think we should duo." Then they go to duo queue with that person and....nope, 2 ranks apart.
