Why even remove SotO or Zephyr

Literally just takes a couple of minutes out of your day, not to mention the Scharizard's to write it down and Moobeat to put it up on S@20, and makes us mad. No reason. At all. Like wtf Riot I thought those memes of you specifically fucking us over were just memes

They are hardly used, in pretty bad places right now, ect. They just aren't needed. There are many better items to go for.[slayer-jinx-catface]

Again, I ask, why remove them? Literally takes no work to just keep it in. None. Nada. Zilch. Oh I'm sorry you have to scroll over one more item so that we who don't play League super competitively can have fun, but we do, and you're not the center of the universe.

Why? Just why? No reason to.

Cause again, they aren't needed. If they are rarely used, not slot efficient/not given the stats that BETTER items can do, there is no need to keep them in the game.

There's no need to remove them either. Took Riot a long time to remove DFG from the game and that's because it was broken. This... just... there's no reason.

They aren't needed is a silly argument, A better question is why does riot spend time developing a mini mejai's item and also changes mejai's, but does not make the same changes for the AD version of the item.......

Mejai's is used by champions who have much greater safety (Janna, Lux, etc), so it can be balanced around them keeping the stacks. It's a reasonable pickup on such champions if they want a cheap item that grows to give respectable AP.

SotO, on the other hand, who is this item ACTUALLY good on? AD assassins or ADCs who are both liable to get blown up at a moment's notice with more frequency than the likes of the Mejai's users. Plus, there's the fact that AD champions generally need more than just AD to function well. They want penetration, life steal, a bit of CDR, the AoE of Tiamat and/or critical chance, plenty of AS for ADCs... And SotO only provides AD and a paltry AS buff if you max it.

There's no real way to make SotO a choice to consider outside the realm of someone snowballing into insanity. At which point they could build any other AD items and get more benefits.

I like your argument. Can you tell me why they removed** Leviathan **(Mejai's for HP)?

Levitathan rewarded you for not dying with the ability to not die. Simple as that.

Building SotO allows you to build tanky. I was snowballing as Lee Sin once so I bought Warrior, Ravenous Hydra, SotO, and then went full tank. I did a lot of damage and was tanky at the same time. Good item. Did the same with Kha'zix. Well, not full tank, but I bought Randuin's and GA.
