Super binary and not fun at all. No counterplay at all besides changing your champ choice.

yeah, but what if you're playing a champ that doesn't benefit from those items?
Then you'd have to sacrifice a nice item slot that you could actually buy a useful item with.

Malz, Leblanc, Syndra, all of them EASILY dominate heim. Syndra can freaking pick up your ULT turret and just toss it away when you cast it. Malz can simply cast a SINGLE E and take out not one, not two, but all three turrets if they are close enough to minions or each other. Lb, just aoe them and warp back, super easy.

That's what I wrote in my OP. Heim beats all melee champs but loses to ranged.
