Kindred's Damage
Kindred's Passive's Damage.
Disclaimer: First board post of mine, so don't murder me if I missplel something, please. ;w; Also, I'm not 100% sure this is the right board, but it seemed the best. If it's wrong, lemme know, and I'll move it.
This also isn't a post whining about how OP Kindred, of all people, is OP right now. This is just a lot of numbers about Kindred's damage.
With that said…
So. I played Kindred a ton a while ago. Like, non-stop. My third champion, and I played the hell out of them.
After a while, with a lack of sleep factoring into my being off my meds, I figured out that Kindred is the only champion capable of truly one-shotting everyone.
So, what numbers are required to do 100% current health physical damage?
(Please note I'm not calculating in items on Kindred. I have no idea what BorK is anymore, and I have no idea how the hell Guinsoo's works with Kindred.)
Well. We all know that Kindred does 1.25% more per stack. That equates 4 for 5% (sounds like a sale at Walmart, I know) or 8 marks for 10%. Chillax, tho, those who don't know of the eternal hunters, this isn't Vayne and Nasus's unholy spawn. It's still current health, not max, and it's physical, not true. :P
So, a basic calculation tells me that you need 80 hunts to do 100% current max health damage.
But wait! Armor is a thing! Even the squishiest of champions have some armor! No amount of Lethality can totally negate that! And what if they're a tank?
So. Let's look at two specific cases. The two champions with the highest amount of armor possible. (All numbers come from the wiki, and do not include armor/mr runes or masteries, they just further complicate things. And I am not going to bother with Baron, Herald, or any other monsters that inherently reduce damage from Kindred's passive.) First off, we have Rammus, the Armordillo. Yeah, who's seen him recently, anyways? But he's the highest base armor, and the easiest to calculate. So. The wiki tells me that, at level 18, he has 104 base armor, and that his W gives him up to 120 armor. Six thorn mails would give him another 600 armor, so, totaled up, that's 824 armor. Damn. That means…over 200 more AD. But his AD is irrelevant, as we're deleting him. :P
The "armor" section of the wiki tells me that we'd use 100/(100+armor) to find out how much reduction it gives. So 100/(100+824)=100/924=.11, or 89% reduction (as it's a .11 multiplier). Yes, I do believe I just heard every AD assassin scream in terror as well. Now, so. We have to have our Kindred have enough hunts to get past that huge amount. 100% becomes 11%, so let's multiply it by 9. 80*9=720 hunts. Damn. Add 9 hunts to make up for the missing 1% (1/.11=9.09090909…) and we now have a Kindred capable of instakilling just about anyone. They'll even survive the reflected damage, since, if you have more brain cells than the stereotypical bronze 5 Riven "main", you'd build them full tank. (Maybe with Phantom Dancer or some crap like that, simply so you can hit your opponent). At the same time, their Q would do 135+5(729)=3780 damage per press. Holy crap, even Nasus is jealous. That's enough to kill anything unto itself. Press Q for a free triple.
But…there's one champion with a potential for more armor. Yes, Thresh. At 999,999 souls, he has 99.99% damage reduction. By the time he had that…holy crap. Simply buying him Nashor's Tooth would let him instakill things. But we're not here for his damage. So. 99.99% reduction. That means that each mark does a meager .0125 damage. So…You wanna know the staggering number we need? 8000 hunts. That would enable Kindred to instakill Thresh, and, at that point, anything that isn't a turret, inhibitor, or nexus. Their Q would do a staggering 135+5(8000)=40135 damage, which is a number that fifty Veigars and fifty Nasuses combined would have a hard time reaching. But who cares, when you're literately killing anything that exists on every single auto attack?
So. Just some fancy Kindred math. Enjoy these numbers that you would need several hours to get up to in a game. :3
