I think teemo needs a buff.

Revert the nerfs to his kit in the rework and keep the buffs. Other top laners beat him in teamfights hard cause mushrooms suck now and can be sweeped.

So very many top laners get buffed and out shine teemo late game (like they always have) while doing better in lane than before due to new items and buffs to juggernauts. Can Teemo get some kind of buff? Something like make his W NOT TRASH? His w is so bad, please give back the old w, teemo has no dash so why gut his w ms speed? Could his w also get an addition from the old w.. for example a slow remover like garen's q?

I pretty much just play Teemo as a splitpusher which works ok. If I build ap I usually win lane but the enemy bruisers are just so much better in teamfights it doesnt matter much. Also Fiora destroys Teemo, absolutely destroys him.

Teemo is one of my mains and i don't feel he really needs much if any buff.

The only change i would like to see is for there to finally be some actual counterplay in his shrooms.

arm instantly
increased damage and explosion range
delay explosion and make visible for short time

That would make the shrooms actually do damage again instead of being outclassed by his auto while also giving the attentive players a chance to avoid the damage.

Oh fuck you dude. I was arguing with you on Garen last week. NO ONE wants Garen to be strong either, except mains. I have started playing teemo more lately and he needs some reverts on his rework nerfs.

She doesn't if you can bait out her riposte. And teemo is not design to be a strong team fight champion. In lane he is plenty strong against almost any top laner.

It's been a long time since I lost lane because of the champion my opponent picked, it is always because they legitimately played better than me.

How do you exactly bait her riposte as Teemo? The only thing that Teemo can bait with is his Q... Which is exactly what Fiora wants to riposte anyway. The only way to bait her riposte is to use Q as a poke, hope that she will riposte and NOT go for a trade. Then you can wait till your Q is back off cooldown and immidiately go for a trade (you have max 10 seconds window to do that)... All of this assumes that Fiora can't play, or else she would riposte your blind while going all in.

Seriously, I cannot imagine Teemo winning this lane against equally (or even slightly less) skilled Fiora.

don't actually use your q. Everyone knows the auto q combo and the expect it. so walk up like you are going to use it, then don't

This will not work against any competent Fiora, due to the fact that Blinding Dart have different animation and sound effect (along with cast time long enough to react to it). I start to think that you just never met a good Fiora (you lucky bastard!).

A good (or even decent) Fiora will never use riposte until you start casting blinding dart. That's all there is to it. If you succeed at baiting it this way then that Fiora player is not very good.

My point still stands, it is not the champion that causes the win but the player. And any player that i will face at my level is going to make a mistake occasionally,.

Yes, but this is true for every matchup in the game. The player who makes more mistakes will lose most of the time. There is not a single lane that cannot be won if you are much more skilled than the opposing player - but that doesn't mean that soft and hard counters don't exist.

If for example, you play Teemo vs Tryndamere lane and Teemo just stands in melee range, even after the blind ends - he's gonna lose. It doesn't matter how well your kit counters your enemy if you cannot use it properly. The same goes for Fiora and Teemo matchup. Fiora have all the tools needed to beat Teemo without much problem...

Really in this particular matchup I would change this quote:

it is not the champion that causes the win but the player

is is not the champion that causes the lose but the player

Since you lose as Fiora when you fuck up - if you don't, you win.

mostly true.

If i try to bait her into using her riposte by not using my blind and she doesn't use riposte, then my auto still hits her and i get a free auto. If she tries to dash in to trade i can blind during her dash or close enough to during that she can't riposte it.

personally I don't think either has the advantage from kit, I think they are at a stale mate which is decided by player ability.

Teemo Q cast time (and especially it's unique sound) gives enough time to riposte even at point blank range though (unless your ping is very high).

at point blank yes, but you can't riposte during lunge and lunge takes enough time that you could cast blind before the game would even allow fiora to riposte. At least it is just as easy for teemo to cast during lunge as it is for fiora to cast riposte to block blind.
