Bronze5 Questions! Nasus Support. Why isn't it viable?

Everyone knows you play Nasus top or Jungle, and if you break the meta, you go mid, but why can't he be a support?

Stack his Q off Targon's stacks, max his W for free exhaust on 12 second cooldown, and have his E for easy waveclear off the turret.

I know he doesn't have real HARD CC, but he's still got a built in exhaust and we also all know that Death is the best CCNasus

Am I crazy or is it just something people haven't tried yet?

There's no kill pressure, no poke damage, no peel. He offers nothing as support. Yes, wither is devastating max level, but by that time, your adc is stuck in a 1v2 virtually. The e costs wayyyy too much mana to be spamming for wave clear, top/jungle nasus dont even spam e because of the mana costs. The stack off relic is really bad because unless you plan to steal cs from your adc, relic's passive comes up every 60 seconds, which is horrible because 2 minutes later you have +6.

He wont get enough q stacks to really be relevent, and all he has for cc is wither. He doesn't really have high enough base damages or enough utility to warrant gimping him of gold and q stacks in order to support. Plus his early game isn't the strongest, and strong early games is what you want for most supports, unless they have enough utility to scale into late game.

Just one thing. I don't know if this is a thing in bronze but if you dont have like 200 stacks on nasus at the start of the mid game and your teammates find it out by clicking your stats, its so disspointing that you'll be near reportable because you haven't done your job that you live for.

Because He becomes a good tank when he farms with his Q, but you cant rob your adc of their feed. Nasus has a good slow, and good AoE, but the whole point of nasus is to get that Q farm. Like they say "dont go chasing waterfalls, stick to the rivers and the streams that you know".

Farming Q with targons will not give you anywhere near as many stacks as you need to be relevant.

Thanks for all the replies, guys.

So, it seems like a lot of the reasons are things I've considered, but I'm surprised people think the E would be hard to use for clearing waves. It's got a decent AP ratio, so an IBG or Banner would be plenty of AP to get it set for waveclear and pushing.

-- All that aside, though, some of you seem to forget that I'm talking about Nasus as a support, not as a solo laner. Why should he be getting kited when he can provide essentially the same utility as a Leona pre-6?

He's going to be hitting like a wet noodle, has no zoning potential, has terrible base stats, and slows are terrible form of CC

Also Wither is far from exhaust, all it does is slow your AS which is pretty insignificant when people weave their spells properly.
