Honestly, I have no idea what I am supposed to do

Take a look at my match history. It is so bad that it is driving me crazy. Every game I have played well yet I am still losing because of one reason or other. In my most recent match, braum sold his entire item set, just because we were taking long to finish the game, costing us the match. Almost every match, I have good KDA I just can't carry the game. This is just driving me crazy. I just can't do anything.

Please tell me what am I doing wrong. Because from the way I see it, I have played well enough yet I still can't carry games

EDIT : Thanks for your help guys, but the game has become which bot lane is better. No matter how far ahead the mid laner, it's pointless if the bot lane feeds. Recent game as Sej, did everything I could, bot was utterly worthless even though Swain was playing well and I was doing everything to get him snowballing

The cs/min you have kinda suggests that you are just recalling after kills and probably roaming without pushing your lane first. Even as a champ that roams a lot like katarina, you should be getting 5 at very least 6 ok 7+/min ideal. This way if you do kill enemies then you can take objectives right after, which is how you really snowball games.

Hmm, when I play as an AP champ such as Lux, yeah I agree my CS is horrible. Though when I am playing Kat, it is hard to do anything pre-6, so I have to give up a lot of farms. I might be playing it wrong, but as soon as I hit lvl 6, I begin to roam so I can make up for the lost CS

You are probably playing way too passive. If you have a lead on your laner don't let them just free farm alongside you, take your lead and shove it so far down their throat that they are a non-factor for the rest of the game. Take the enemy jungler's camps, take everything they own. If you are far ahead early you SHOULDN'T be on your side of the map. Be confident enough that you can 1v2 their jungler or escape (even if you have to use flash, it's worth it because of the amt of pressure you can create).

And by lead I don't just mean kills, I mean if they are down 1 potion on you, or down a few hundred health. Because if they are down 100-200 health on you, even even trades are in your favor (you put them in lethal range / force a back or death).

If you have a lead go ward enemy jungle, make sure that their jungler is spotted and effectively useless. Get vision control and create picks. In bronze people walk around without purpose, you can easily catch someone out in their own jg.

Pro-Tip: Don't spam Kat's Q on minion wave early levels, this will PUSH the wave into enemy's side, and they can zone you a lot easily. Wait for them to shove the wave into you, which lets you safely last hit them (even if its not safely, the threat of your jungler is a lot greater if they harass you on your side of the map). Also gives you a lot more room to run them down the lane for an all-in.

This. This is my problem. I am too passive before I hit lvl 3. I am afraid that if I shunpo on my daggers, the enemy laner will easily kill me

Step 1: Pick a role and stick with it

Step 2: Pick a few easy champions and play NOTHING but those few champions. Try Malzahar for mid lane.

It is hard for me to elaborate any further unless you can tell us what some of your struggles are or if I am able to watch some of your matches.

I used to play support but left it as getting a good ADC is basically RNG in bronze and enchanters aren’t that good. I used to play mid as an off role but now it’s my main role along with jungle. Aside from CS, no matter how many kills or objectives I get, I always lose. If you want to you can check out my op.gg.

Well, your low CS and high kill count can be a symptom of not paying enough attention to the lanes. I wasn't going to bring it up in the first post though because I don't know what EXACTLY it is that you are doing to cause this.

Many people even in my current rank and platinum....

-Don't pay attention to side waves -Don't defend turrets -Ignore pulling minion waves up with them before they fight (Lowers your chance to get a turret or objective after a won fight) -Chase into the enemy jungle too often and too deep without pulling the waves up -Roam while ignoring their lanes getting shoved into their turret -Always want to go all mid even if there are 40 enemy minions shoved into both of your side turrets -And much more...

I can't really confirm anything until I watch one of your matches.

Your most recent match history tells me that you are 3-1 in the jungle with Evelynn and Sejuani. I want to see about 100 more games of nothing but those champions if you typically have success on them. Especially Sejuani. Fantastic champion right now. If you like to roam/fight but don't want to be glued to a lane then Assassin junglers seem to make sense with your play style. So Evelynn would be a good choice here.

When it comes to mid lane, I wouldn't want to see you play Katarina or Lux right now until you learn more about pressuring the map (I am making an assumption here). Katarina is an AMAZING champion if you know what you are doing at lower elo (like my elo too), but Lux is a bit tougher. She can carry games but she is way more team reliant. I would recommend Malzahar first and see how you like it. My second recommendation is Morgana. She suffers some of the same problems as Lux. However, Morgana can have more impact on a team of monkeys.

Lux will just really struggle to carry a game if you have no real tank shredders on your team and you are stuck vs a team of tanks and assassins.

Well, tbf I have success as Evelynn because how few people buy control wards in my elo. Sejuani is amazing because tanks are amazing atm.

Hmm, I will have to learn about map pressure but if you mean roaming, then I do that as Kat and Lux as soon as I hit lvl 6. In fact I allow the enemy to push far up in my lane so he/she can back up and I will start to roam.

Na, I don't mean roaming. Knowing when to roam is a whole different thing though.

One small example of map pressure would be always keeping your minion waves pushing to your enemy. Not during level 1 laning of course, but lets say you roam bot and get a 1v2 double kill. Don't recall or run back mid immediately. Try to get your bot lane minion waves pushing into the enemy turret as fast as possible. This makes the enemy bottom lane lose out on EXP and gold. It also puts free damage onto their turret. If you think the turret is low enough, you can even just take out the turret for another bucket of gold.

One mistake that most players at our elos make is this...

They see an enemy or two in a lane and they start chasing without paying attention to the waves. If the enemy wave is pushing INTO your own turret, then chasing is a bad idea if no one stays behind to pull the wave up with them. If everyone chases, it is nearly a loss even if you get two kills out of it (Depends on several factors but this is a general tip). If everyone chased, then....

-You lose all of the EXP and gold that crashed into your turret -Your turret loses HP (Or worse, you could even lose the turret which also gives global gold to the enemy team on top of it all) -You waste time (Frees up members of the enemy team to take objectives or pick off your teammates since they know where you are for a while) -You can't take any turrets for your team because you don't have any ally minions there with you to tank the turret for you -And more or less depending on the situation

Keeping waves pushed in the side lanes will also make an enemy split pusher's job harder since it will take them more time to get to your turrets.

Tbf in my most recent game as Kat my bot lane was fine especially Lucian. Braum messed up the entire game by selling his items every single time, during late game , and also trying to solo an infernal drake

Positive KDA every game including losses?

You might be exhibiting behaviors of what I call a 'KDA player' - chasing instead of securing objectives, killing easy, but low value targets, ignoring a wave of CS, taking kills that would strengthen your allies (particularly the AD) -and blowing your load on low value targets in teamfights. I don't mean to imply anything from your champion choices- but those you have played most recently practically encourage this sort of play pattern.

To put it in easily understood terms- I had a Leona game recently where Taliyah ulted in the jungle to cut me off while warding, Warwick then ulted me, then Vayne ulted me to kill steal the kill. The ensuing teamfight at dragon (which I was warding for), they had NOTHING to contribute, their team was aced 5 for 1. If it sounds familiar to you, try to manage your resources more appropriately.

Well if I was playing a champ whose job is to take towers or drags or inhibs like Nasus, Tryndamere or Yi, I would do that. But since I was playing Kat, who relies on assassinating and killing off squishies, I "THINK" did my job. I really hope there was a way of sharing replays so you guys could help me out better, but from the graphs and stats I played well.

There was a moment, where I was farming top and my team stupidly started a teamfight. Except for Yi all of my teammates were killed and as soon as I came back we both killed the team. The support player on my team, Braum ruined the match for me and this has been happening for some time now. No matter how far am I ahead, there is always someone who feeds or the enemy ADC is just better than mine, and I lose the game

I have the same problem in some games, It's because you can't teamfight. You have to learn how to position and when/how to engage. I see you play Katarina, and she's really hard to play in teamfights and getting the timing right for engage is difficult. Also, tend to focus more on objectives.

Yeah, it doesn't work. If my bot lane isn't good enough the game is lost. Two games, and two awful bot lanes. Pushing way up far and getting ganked or not warding enough.

This is not working, I might have to quit the game as it is just affecting me too much
