Mundo Machism and Sadism wrong names?

Masochist - someone that like to inflict damage to SELF Sadist - someone that like to inflict damage to OTHERS

Sadism Dr. Mundo regenerates health every second

Doesnt these seems swapped to you? Do i have wrong understanding about these meanings? Isnt it suppose to be

Further more the Icons also seems to be swapped as well. At Masochism we see fist - whatever that means. Sadism we see someone holding a Cleaver. I am confused

As I said in the last topic to bring this up, Mundo's skill names seem to be all over the place.

Adrenaline Rush should be the name of his ultimate. His ult is LITERALLY an adrenaline rush.
Masochism should be the name of his W, especially if they give it new VFX because Mundo has nothing to do with fire at all. Maybe make it akin to Sion's old E, and have it cause Mundo's autos to become small AoE swings that deplete his Health.
Sadism should be the name of his E, because Mundo likes dealing tons of damage to nerds.

As for his passive... I dunno, someone come up with something.

Funny story. It was actually an accidental mix up on riot's part. By the time they noticed it they just let it slide to avoid in game confusion (even if the names swapped make more sense.)

It's an intentional joke to fit his theme. His spell names are backwards because he's crazy and his speech pattern fits with mismatched names.

It was years ago before boards even existed and I wouldn't be able to find the thread even if I tried. Sorry if it sounds like a cop out, but it's the truth :(

Basically, somebody brought this topic up before and a Rioter stepped into say that it was intentional because it fit Mundo's wacky personality.

You're looking at it from what does mundo do to others. You could also look at it from what does mundo do to himself.

Masochism deals more damage the lower mundo's hp is, so the more damage he's taken the more damage he deals.

Sadism restores his health passively so that he can fight and deal damage to others more often.

Pretty sure they swap it intentionally.

It's Mundo after all, he prob doesn't know the difference between hurting someone and getting hurt, he likes them both anyway so why bother distinguishing them right?

This was apparently a mistake when Mundo was first put into the game. Someone mixed up the names and they just decided to not fix it since it was a little funny with the what the abilities did, compared to the names.
