Corki too safe?

Question: Corki is "The Daring Bombardier" With his new changes to W riot wanted Corki players to start being more "daring" instead of sit back poking. In my games that I've watched, Corki players do one of the following:

  1. Play wayyyy safer, now have a bug escape
  2. Kamikazee into the enemy team and get blown up

Are y'all seeing the same thing or am I just looking in the wrong places?

Usually in games allies drop care packages. Corki's allies, however, drop throw packages.
