Plants are a gimmick. We don't need them

The plants look cool, they will certainly make the jungle more varied and interactive.

meddler's job is a gimmick. did you seriously expect the guy with the gimmick job to not produce gimmick shit?

Plants are no more a gimmick than smite buffs, we are just used to smite buffs.

I like the idea at its basic level.

But there needs to be more than 3 kinds of plants, and it needs to not be such that two of them are situational and one is always good.

Smite buffs were NOT fine as they were.

The concept of them, however, very much was.

So you're fine with the jungle being about who has the fastest clear?

We don't have any use nor need for any jungle changes atm. Perhaps individual champions need to be tweaked in order to bring them in line, but sweeping jungle changes are NOT necessary for literally every preseason patch.
