And this is with Guisnoo's Rageblade still being a thing. Devourer + rageblade + full tank, and Xin will be nearly unkillable.

nearly unkillable*

just chain CC and 1v5 him

Knoyle5 votes

From this comment alone I wouldn't be able to tell that you are talking about XinZhao not DrMundo.

God help you if you mess up the chain cc though.

fits perfectly into Riots agenda for S6.

Chaotic Reks4 votes

So release Xin is starting to make a comeback huh?

7Artemis74 votes

I guess Riot wants everyone who wasn't around in 2010 to experience the joys of Release Xin.

CasterGilgamesh1 votes

oh god i hope they don't bring back released Leblanc or released Ezreal....

SaltyKracka2 votes

And they're buffing his E, too.

lightdragoon8811 votes

Actually a nerf since the cooldown is flat at all ranks instead of going down each rank.

SaltyKracka14 votes

I'd say it's a buff to his early game, and given that Xin is already an early-game dominating jungler...

Sire Hippington3 votes

it just makes him more snowbally, as he will have alot more problems mid-late with the E nerf if he is behind, but his early becomes even more dominant...it will just increase all problems for playing as xin aswell as plyaing against him without fixing anything, just uping his generall powerlevel...

WookieJesuz3 votes

well arguably his early game is his weakest point and this buffs it

Zeralyos9 votes

You're kidding, right?

WookieJesuz2 votes

well I mean hes strong at all points hes not WEAK early, but considering how powerful he is max build, how powerful he is half build, and how powerful he is low level, he is weakEST early levels compared to other parts of his game.

imo

lol right? and hes one of the strongest early game junglers. he never falls off. and he has no weak spots

Hawkefire4 votes

That is very untrue, Xin Zhao does fall off during the very late stages of the game (when everyone is full build).

Granted with the way game lengths are, Xin never really ends up falling off on average.

Knoyle1 votes

Still, that can be said about a lot of champions. However, They will never TRULY fall off as long as they can at least fulfill one of their purposes. For example, as long as Zed can delete at least one squishy he has fulfilled his role and everything beyond that is bloody gravy. But if he doesn't get what he needs early enough he kind of becomes gold you just have to hunt down.

Verxint2 votes

He only falls off in the sense that he can't really hard initiate anymore. His scaling is really good and very few champs can 1v1 him. His ult, knockup, and armor shred makes him a decent off-peeler.

The thing about xin is his job on a team changes throughout the game and depends on how much he snowballed.

bobsenbob2 votes

holy shit, xin zhao is already strong all around and an absolute monster in low elo, what do you want him to do? 1v5 with 3 kills?

Jiharu2 votes

item 3078 has three sides, xin's first name has three letters and the ratio is .3

Half Life 3?!?!?!?!?

Secretlolz2 votes

This is probably a concern for low elo players mostly, in Diamond I have weeks, WEEKS, I don't see a Xin Zhao. It's either Lee, Elise or Tanks

Maybe he needs this

WookieJesuz2 votes

Well, at low elo we (including me) dont know how to deal with op xin zhao. And with these changes he can solo baron with 2 items at 20, that might be a problem.

How might I ask does one deal with devourer xin?

Saeko242 votes

To be honest I never see him. :o

Celeste Benal2 votes

You will. :nods: You will.

Blue Moon Wolf1 votes

It may not go out. Before they had a change to item 3092 for this patch where the ghosts would only go after champs running away from you, but got rid of that change after a few days.

terkmc1 votes

Does Xin use crit that much for the new crit effect to matter, or are they making him a melee adc now?

Hawkefire1 votes

A common thing to do (and this generally only applies to top lane Xin Zhao), is that when you snowball really hardcore on Xin, and they are generally fairly squishy champions, is to grab some crit and just obliterate them (Ex: Infinity Edge + Triforce)

The amount of burst a nearly full AD xin zhao can output is actually quite insane.

Edit: Do note, I am not saying that these buffs are a good idea, hell they are an incredibly stupid idea and will break the fuck out of Xin. I am merely stating as to where they may have come up with the idea for it.

Odinakos1 votes

I am more conserned about the burst a bruiser xin can do. An AD can blurp into oblivion, a bruiser that can burst and survive, now that is a real problem. See Fiora and how her bruiser build is more dominant than the AD.

WookieJesuz2 votes

On jungle xin, the crit attack combined with machete = full hp xlear without any potions. It is a broken effect.

MidEvilKnight3k3 votes

It makes your 3rd attack (the one that heals) a critical strike, so you don't have to build critical chance to use it.

5050BS2 votes

Because he gets 100% every third hit you want Infinity Edge and Sated (to make it every OTHER attack)

Melledoneus1 votes

Release Xin Zhao! IT'S BACK, BABY!

Counters? Uh... ... ... uh... he's a sucker for french girls...? Fiora

And also, natives of the eggplant colony of Oompa-Loompa land. Jax

MLDzXnRRR1 votes

Xin gets kited and bursted (if he builds squishy).

DEmperor953 votes

Well now you can build him tanky and do more damage than squishy Xin on live can.

NOPE.

IS3E531E3F9643911 votes

I hate facing xin as mordekaiser, he attacks me with 2.5 attackspeed I then ult him get his ghost and it has like 1.0 attackspeed...

Anags1 votes

People should let this play out before crying about it. His E is actually a nerf especially mid game. E max was common for the reduced CD and now you will max it last probably. Looks like a buff to warrior xin honestly.

I can't tell you the last time I saw or lost to a xin. Last time I played against one he got some kills early and by end game he couldn't do anything except get cc'd and destroyed. But I guess jumping to conclusions is what the boards are for.

WookieJesuz1 votes

I played him on pbe. Solo baron at 20 min with 2 items. Infinite sustain

2 seconds on e isnt gonna do jack.

Dehorn1 votes

Nunu - "dont let him farm devourer."
