Amazing
one of the largest complaints was that new runes put way to much damage into the game to the point that Resolve tree had to be buffed to ridiculous tier (boneplating hello) to deal with it along with other defensive properties in the game.
eye collection makes ghost poro and zombie ward useless because free damage will almost always outshine situational utility ( https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/0/0a/Electrocute_rune.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/55?cb=20171126182032 )
Riots solution is to just put even MORE free damage into the other runes instead of reworking the literal ball of free stats rune eyeball collection.
any Rioter care to comment on why they think adding even MORE damage and stats to the rune system is a good idea (as opposed to slowly removing it and making players actually use their brains for once not just clicking everything that gives em damage some way or another)? what do you guys think about this?
personally these aren't the changes I was hoping to see to the dominion tree at ALL or this rune system as a whole. how much damage is enough damage? does literally every rune now need to have some sort of bonus damage effect just so players will even fathom the thought of ever choosing it? The amount of just raw damage runes are churning out now is getting obnoxious to deal with and skewing actual champ balance.
I'm really looking forward to a Xin Zhao suddenly getting a 62AD abruptly because he is standing in a river next to his Ghost Poro above 70% HP.....
