Demotion shield

So TLDR version. Over this season I managed to get up to gold 2 then demote to g 4. Lately I have been getting a lot of unranked players in my games or plain trolls which forced me to dodge. At -10 lp G4 I won my game and now have 5 lp with demotion shield expiring. Does this mean that I will demote after said shield expires if I stop playing, or will I still stay in G4. I am asking this because I really want to stop soloq for a few reasons-at the end of the season there are many unranked people who started playing at the start of the year but only now play ranked. There is a drastic difference in game quality now and say early August. As such I have decided to stop soloq but before I do I must know if I will demote automatically or something because of this "Demotion shield" Thank you.

As long that it's yellow , you're ok. Altough, if it become red, you're better worry cause if you lose 2 in a row you demote. And if your demote, your mmr will stay trash basically forever.
