S rank and how the fuck is it formed

Despite the title, no this is not a rant. I am currently learning Aatrox and am playing him on normals(obviously anything else would be crap). I love the champ. He is fun, flashy and deseptive with his healing. Now to the main problem. As of now I have 4 games of Aatrox on people( I did make 2 test games on bots so as not to be completely r%%%%%ed). Of said 4 games I won 3. 2 of them I was very solid with perfect KDA. The second of those games(as of writting this post this is my last game of Aatrox) I had an amazing score of 11 0 8. The game turned into a massacre and I neglected farming a bit. At the 21 minute mark with 11 0 8 and 105 farm I got A+. Now I think my game should have been an S- for sure. 0 deaths 11 kills, epic monster kills. I realize farm was low but if I had, for example 190 farm in 21 minutes with the same score taht would have been an S+. If I had around 150 farm an S, and my current farm would be S-. I still love Aatrox and will get that S and eventually play him in ranked once I master him to the best of my ability so as not to troll in Ranked. My point is the grading system is very arbitrary. 2 games with equal KDA would get different grades. Simillar farm, simmilar damage dealt, same champ. There would be games where I would say: " Nah, died too much, I will have to work for that hextech chest next game" and I still get a random S- or even S. It is not so much about the chest( it could be crappy chest with some boring cheap skin or a 1350 BE champ). The issue is this gameplay mechanic which acts randomly and sometimes gives you S for 21 6 5 with not that great of a farm( 200 for 32 minutes) and other times gives you the A+ middle finger without taking into account that you had to fight the other enemy laners, who your teammates fed, not taking into account that you got sick shutdowns etc. I would very much like Riot to clarify this system, because sometimes it gives unjustly high grades, while other times it trolls you.

You form an S by drawing a squiggly line.

Just play whatever champ you want an S on as support and get as much cs as you can whenever you can (like when your adc is backed or dead). especially after laning phase is over and some lanes are open to free farm.

I think it's been discussed before, that the Ranking system is based on the overall performance of EVERYONE in your region that has played that champ. If the average CS for your champ is, say 200 cs at 35 minutes (totally and completely doable), then you have to get say 250 by 35 minutes. If their average KDA is 4.0, you gotta get a 5.0. ALL of those points (including warding score) have to be above the average for your region in order for you to get an S. Some champs are a lot harder than others. Lucian is staggeringly difficult to get an S on compared to someone like Azir or Yorick. The more players who use the champ, the more stable the average becomes, and usually the harder it is to rank highly

Riot tells you themselves, in your Stats tab. (NOT Advanced Stats for the game; your PROFILE STATS tab.)

Go to your PROFILE in the client, and go to STATS. All of those variables are what they are considering, and they show you that they are measuring you against other players of your MMR, your server, playing your champion, in that specific role. It's 13 measurements, that are averaged together, to produce your grade.

COMBAT: KDA Ratio, Kill Participation, Utility Score, Damage Per Death, Damage Share

INCOME: Damage Per Gold, Early Gold Advantage, Early CS Advantage, CS Per Minute

MAP CONTROL: Objective Control Ratio, Vision Score Per Hour, Roam Dominance Score, Kill Conversion Ratio

It seems that the score in each of these categories is considered equally. People notice improvements when they focus on CS or Vision, because these are much easier to control, and excellence in these areas will excuse underperformance in other areas.

It is said that Vision is %20 of your grade. This is an oversimplification, however, it's amazing that when you tell this to people, they start warding, and they start getting Ses.

Riot's grading is NOT consistent with good game play. For example, in the long match, you would need to farm past 400 CS to still earn an S, in most cases, and this is ridiculous. (60m match, you have full build, but you won't get the S if you don't farm. You might lose the game, however...)

The grading on op.gg is more consistent with habits and practices that win games. The only thing that really matters is winning. Don't get distracted.

It's formed from the performances of comparable players on the champion. Your idea that it is based on your K/D and it not matching with that is the reason it doesn't make sense to you.

An S rank means you performed dramatically better than the average for that champion in your ELO, and it has very little to do with K/D.

As far as we can determine, lane performance, objective pressure, vision control, teamfight presence, damage dealt, overall gold earned are all factored in.

Anyway. you placed 3 wards. 3 just.. what? The rest of your team was not so great (wtf is that sup doing?), but that is sure as hell not gold. Your gold gain was not exceptional, a lot of those kills appear to be underfed and worthless individuals with no gold (or strategic) value.

Often a "good" game where you stomped was just a bunch of kills where you never hit a turret and/or fell just below the line for an S.

Go to your profile page (in client) and find the "stats" tab. This will give you a relatively detailed report on how well you do in your games based on the metrics that the game records you on.

If I had to take a wild guess looking at your games, you have a 50% CS efficiency. This is bad. Llama also pointed out wards, also bad. I can only assume your objective game is weak while you hunt down fights. This isn't CoD TDM, you're not gonna get an S+ because you went on a 25 kill streak ignoring everything else.

105 CS in 21 minutes is not a problem of not stealing champs from your jungler; it's a problem of you not last-hitting/farming properly.
