Yasuo is not supposed to windwall attacks from above, like Starcall
This is why Ziggs ult is not blocked by windwall.
So why is Yasuo blocking Raka's Q?

I think it is blocked because they programmed it like a projectile, and thats why it has the time delay for being farther away. I am just guessing thats why, not saying it should.
yup, not to mention yas's wall blocks vel'koz's knockup as well. Despite it being more of an animation than a projectile imo.
Yeah, I love Vel'Koz and I don't understand why his E is blocked by Yasuo's wind all when Cho'Gath's Q is not. It is the same ability...
Then I remember that Vel'Koz's R can't be blocked by Yasuo's wind wall and melt his face off.
I think the Windwall should not block attacks from above, regardless of whether they are in or off screen.
It is a wind WALL, not a wind ORB.
Idk why can windwall delete nami ult, vel koz W, Barum ult, or viktor's lazor (like seriously it's light i don't care how much wind you use).
Really the issue is that the game doesn't actually have 3 dimensions, a lot of the spell effects in the air make it appear that way by changing the size of the model, but really things like mao's sappling toss, starcall, or ziggs ult are actually strait lines with the appearance of height.
The list of spells yasuo wall can block is probably longer than it should be, and the simplicity and power of the skill itself probably needs to be addressed, but w/e riot hasn't fixed it yet so they probably will not.
Ziggs ult is actually blockable by Wind Wall. Here's how it works: When Ziggs ult is off the screen, it's unblockable; but when it enters your view again, it becomes blockable. Since Soraka's Q is visible for its entire duration, it's entirely blockable.
I'm pretty sure they changed that; it's described as passing over the wall

Yasuo's interaction with Ziggs begins at 7:00. Notice that both times, Ziggs ult is on-screen when it gets blocked.
Right, this video was a year ago; I'm pretty sure they've changed it so that it no longer blocks
In the diagram, It shows how mechanically Yasuo's wall is blocking a projectile, even if it visually goes over the wall. Other projectiles that have a drop instead of a parabola or path to follow, the drop passes them over the wall. Lasers passes through the walls since, Lasers are basic light heating up to a point (and I don't know the mechanically reason).
I think it's less lasers (what about Vik's E?) and more that they said "events" aren't blocked. So if it would move through the wall (like Vik's E) it would be blocked, but if it just appears (like Lux Ult) then it goes through it. I am very annoyed that a floating wall completely unattached to the ground can block things like Vel's E
Yas is much to strong of a fighter champion to have this much utility, especially in just one skill.
Because that would be literally OP. I'd stop playing the game if they made a champ who could block both.
