Kalista's lore exalts the committing of suicide to attain vengeance to teens. That is not good.

It is incredibly thoughtless of the writer to put this content out for teenagers across the globe. The last high school shooting we had consisted of the Prom King getting vengeance for someone dating his girlfriend.

Most people that play this game are teenagers. Yes, teens have a brain and can make choices for themselves but why romanticize the idea of suicide for vengeance? Like, WTF is anyone thinking at Riot? How do you put out a champion with THAT lore in THIS country?

In addition, the main character in the lore is not believable at all. Someone that knows voodoo and believes in the afterlife doesn't just relinquish spending eternity with loved ones over spending eternity with lulz-psycho-killer-that-is-also-very-noble-and-nice. It does not compute.

Well, to be fair, in-lore that suicide fuses you to a hive mind vegence incarnate(after you've done your little summoning ritual of course) and then you go and make the person who betrayed you rekt.

I have enough faith in the average teen to believe that they won't think that'll actually happen if they try to take a dive off this mortal coil.
