Why do people complain about LeBlanc's tether range?

Just wondering.. When Morg/Lux/Xerath, etc hit you with their skillshot, you immediately take all of the damage and you're immediately CC'd. With LB's tether, she not only has to hit you but also has to stay in range until it procs. If the ADC has a support or literally any other person standing anywhere near them, the LB can't wait the 1.5s and will have to back off. If that were a morg/xerath/lux, you would be CC'd and likely dead immediately after being stunned.

LB has one of the only CC/tethers that is delayed long enough to still give you a chance to defend the person being chained, or just flash over a wall yourself and break the tether, if you already made the mistake of getting hit by the chain in the first place.

Kinda self-explanatory, but ok..

Edge-to-edge: The edge of the tether range circle has to touch the edge of the enemy champion's hitbox circle to stay connected

Because part of the power budget tied to the skill is the counterplay in breaking the tether. That allows it to do more.

However, the tether just never seems to break unless you either dash/flash away or lb does

A lot of chains do not break unless you flash: Morgana's R, Noc's fear. People just rage the shiet out of them cuz they feel bad that they get oneshotted, instead of buying MR, they buy Dmg. It's a part of being a kid in LoL.

the difference between those is that they also have a much shorter range in which means that Morg and Noct actually have to actively try to stay as close as possible to you unlike LB that she can just stay at a much safer distance without needing to fear people breaking her tether unless they dash or flash away. LB also doesn't really care if she roots you or not, she will hit you with her chains and if you get away she will just try again in a small while since it's on a much more shorter CD than Morg's tether and it's also a billion times more reliable than Noct's. Then you have Karma that has pretty much the same tether skill as LB yet that thing breaks with no effort whatsoever unless you are humping the enemy. LB's tether is stupidly strong for it just being a regular ability

its not just range, its the fact is has the fizz ult affect, basically it hits you even when it clearly missed by a long shot
