Pls bring back "Honorable Opponent"

I agree with this 100%, we shouldn't be forced to choose between multiple good players on the team, and it would be nice to give a little shout out to respected opponents. Do what was done before and just weight honors based on how often they are given out, so people who just honor all every game don't have as much impact.

Riot turned the honor system into its own competition. Who is the most honorable, you can only pick one. I feel that undermines the whole feeling of honoring people. I hate having a good team and unable to pick one because they were all swell guys.

I totally agree, In reality how many games you would like to honor many players: 1- When there is no single person is the reason to win (Everyone contributed equally). 2- Game both team sides played good. 3- Enjoyed the game to the most (With all these stupid patches, this is like once every week or so).

If all sense does not work about honoring multiple people, allow us to honor 1 opponent at least.

i'd only honor feeders and inters from the enemy team, so what's the point

They should. I feel like I got dicked by the new honor system considering this was hands down my most recieved honor in the old system. I seriously had double the amount of honor from enemies than what I got from my teammates

Yes. Absolutely - the idea of removing that was another step of Riot SAYING they don't want toxicity, but ACTING in a way that makes toxicity more likely.

Unless you mean the part on the Profile screen where you got to see your gathered total.

yeah i want to see how many honours ive got, maybe when we hover our cursor on the honour in the profile

It wasn't implemented originally in the new client and it is much harder to add on to an existing system than it is to include it when originally programming that system. Riot HAVE talked about it in a blog once, though I can't seem to find it now.

This. People generally are crappier to each other now that there's no opponent honor to earn, too.

There have been times where me or the enemy just get angry over one match but me or others help each other out to stay cool so we can let the match end with satisfaction.

Last time I was angry af was last month I was playing adc in normals as twitch and some of my TMs were fighting for any role that isn't support (or second bot carry) had 2 top laners and 1 jungler who was starting at top red and I was against draven and zyra. I bitched in all chat, then got calmed down by enemy Rengar. However enemy bot didn't care. While still grumpy, went for away for 30 seconds to gulp down a pint glass of water. then i power farmed and tried to dodge zyra n draven as much as possible.

I lost 2 towers but i didn't care. my cs was nearly on point with draven. I was 0/5/0 in lane phase but later in game I was 4/7/20 and won so I was glad I stuck around because my other team mates did pull their ego's out of their asses and actually worked as a team. the enemy bot was a problem for me to stay alive but with my burst, if i died or forced to retreat a fight to prevent further feeding. my team was always able to clean up.

I was thankful to enemy rengar to keep me playing. Too bad I couldn't honor him :(.

I don't understand why Riot would remove "Honorable Opponent." there were many matches where I just liked one guy who mained my underrated champions like Kled, Old/New urgot, Old/New yorick, Nami, Ziggs. Or just players who were fun to fight. There were sometimes I did feel pitty for some players even some who were flaming in all chat because in some situations that player was unable to get any cs or become any sort of use in game because of my team or enemy team doing this to my team mate where they can't do anything and get bullied out of jungler or their lane by good team coordination and champions.

very good, I approve, honorable opponent was my largest honor category, also have that (icon is it or what?) that you got being top 10% honorable opponent...guess I am graceful in defeat, what can I say

Honor should not be a contest. Id trade the rewards and badges for the old system any day

I'd love it too, but lots of people abused it. "Will int for honor" was a very big thing a couple years back before they removed it so 2+ people on a team would just throw in an attempt to get the red banner because... well, I dunno. The banner I guess. Having a crest of honor was a big deal back then.

I really like Overwatch’s approach. You cannot honor premades and you get 3 votes, however Overwatch encourages voting by giving XP per vote. The main issue with that is people will honor people who don’t deserve it for the XP. I would like the ability to honor enemy players though, especially when they played really well. Also, the current categories are are ok. I wish that you could write a little note or something about what they did well, but knowing that there are a few (read a lot) toxic players that wouldn’t be a great idea. I also would like to view honor of other players on their profile.

I would prefer a similar honorsystem like in Owerwatch. What i like there is the fact that not only the Champs are shown but also the STATS (!) of them. Got a Sona that actually build supportive and healed all your teams butts multiple times in teamfights? Nice. i would honor that. Got an enemy jungler who warded our side of the jungle more than his own and was the reason no ganks went out for our team? Thats a reason to honor someone.

Atm we got 4 other players champs thrown in our face and have to decide who was the least useless of them and maybe honor one ore none of them. After voting you actually can see the stats and realize your 2-6-3 toplaner did an awesome job with itemization and tanking sh*t for our team you bareley realized during the game because you were focussed on other things.

yes, too many games where i wanted to honor my opponent and i had to just say "wish i could honor you" in end game screen instead.

Hell, sometimes my enemy is more honorable than my trolling team.
