Can we opt out?

Can we opt out of losing positional ranks? I for one was going to climb to gold in each rank/plat in my main roles because I truly enjoyed splitting them up. I also never was filled myself, but would enjoy the fact that filling wouldn't destroy my main LP?

Positional ranks were never the problem and now I get to suffer because of iron/bronze trolls who int when they get filled? That happened before positional ranks, and now trolls are placing the blame on riot for their actions, posting on the boards and riot succumbed to trolls/flamers when the system was perfectly fine.

They only needed a better reporting system for those tier-stuck players who trolled in filled games.

Sigh The one time we didn't want you to listen to the worst portion of the community.

No, only way to get the community to realize the problem is to remove it from everyone. When ranked and especially diamond 4 becomes an even larger clustefuck in a month, then there will be a larger call to reinstate position based ranking.
