Lately people started to complain about Janna, her winrate and pickrate. But is she really that good? I don't think so. She didn't get any buffs so what changed? I tell you what. Lethality changed. What does lethality usually means? Assasins. And what is Janna's job? To shield, heal and disengage. Everything to stop assasins. That's why she shines now. Frankly I'm surprised the same didn't happen to Lulu

TEA Nietzsche 3 votesNo. We only see Talon in LCS other than that we have up to 7 tanks in a single game (and if you don't count full tank J4 then it's still 6). Tanks are strong and assassins are surprisingly weak considering how strong lethality is.

she has one tiny buff sometime last year the rest is a sequence of 5-10 nerfs since season 4 a nerf or two as recently as a few patches ago

Nothing about pro play stats changes the notion that a 55% win rate on a near 1/3 play rate in DIAMOND play ISN'T absurd. LITERAL FREELO WALKING AROUND and you're going on about a 49% win rate champion. You should be thanking your enemies for drafting LB, based on statistics, for upping the general odds of you winning the game.
Regardless, my point on Janna is different than just nerfing her. It's a rallying cry to alter her kit's foundation. She's seen nothing BUT nerfs for the most part and she's still a nuisance in solo queue almost all the time. She really just needs to be a different, better designed champion. Same for Soraka, Sona, and Lulu. Old enchanters have insanely static kits that are either straight up abusive (Janna atm) or nerfed into kingdom come-and-go (Lulu atm). New enchanters offer better, clearer, and more appreciated game play.** Old enchanters are nearly invisible stat sticks that are just way too hard to make fair and balanced in LoL's 3-way balancing philosophy in 2017 (low/high/pro). THAT'S my ACTUAL point on Janna, but thanks for the low-key "you suck" shots. GREATLY appreciated, so I'ma throw in the good ol' "git smart" shot since you think Janna's somehow bad in high elo with a 55% GENERAL WIN RATE on a 1/4+ play rate. Fact that you even came up with this reply "says it all, indeed". PRO PLAY AND SOLO QUEUE ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS, RUBICK. In an ideal world, they wouldn't be, and the types of metas and ideas that show up in pro play would be similar to what we see in our own games, but they are. You should try respecting that notion.

Good synergy doesn't benefit as much, but lack of synergy gets compensated. She's not actually powerful. Her botlane is just less accident prone.

DaNinad1 votesMost people don't even use janna correctly. You are supposed to take gold runes (yes gold runes) and get so ahead of the enemy support/tank to have all the good support items and carry your team to victory. I don't get why they aren't doing this on other supports.
